Poured into a tulip from a 22 oz. bomber. Aggressive pour.
The appearance is an amber color that is somewhat translucent. There is an white-yellow head that is not as large as I thought it would be given the pour. Lacing is sticky and goes throughout.
The aroma is not too strong here. Some hops and vanilla is all that I am getting for some reason.
It is an interesting taste. One that I do enjoy, on the whole. It starts out sweet, and finishes bitter. There is some oak, vanilla, a little bit of citrus and some bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Medium-high carbonation.
This is a nice beer. I think for myself it is a once-in-awhile beer, but it has some nice characteristics. It isn't overwhelming, but I enjoy the oak touch to it. I think it brings a nice taste to an already good beer.

Tap
Pours a clear amber with a sugar white lacing.
Light fruity sweet smell, berries and some citrus. Piney undertones.
Flavor of apples, berries, grapefruit, pine, maple, and a bit of caramel. Hop bitterness in the aftertaste.
Full viscous body with light tingles of carbonation on the tongue.
Excellent flavor profile, a real treat. Definitely worth trying.
