Deep brown, near black, one finger tan head that dissipates to the edges, light lacing left behind. Smell is chocolate in a big way, roasted malt, milkshake like, bittersweet and milk chocolate notes play off of each other wrapped up with subtle hints of alcohol. Taste is chocolatey, roast malt and coffee notes follow, hops in the aftertaste, bittersweet notes throughout, chocolate dominates here. Silky and rich mouthfeel, full body and thick at pointsgood use of carbonation, nice feel. Really good stuff here, nice slow sipper good as desert or just on its own.

750ml bottle served in a tulip glass.

A: Pours a brown to black color forming a medium bubbled tan head with low retention and lots of spotty lacings left in the glass

S: Strong smell of dark chocolate. Impressive. Vanilla, roasted malts, cofffe, earthy yeasts and some wood notes

T: Slightly sweet upfront. Again, very strong notes of dark chocolate. Roasted malts, vanilla, coffee, wood, brown bread, wood, earthy yeasts. End in mainly made of a mild roasted bitterness. A bit milky too

M: Creamy and heavy body. Low carbonation. Dark chocolate aftertaste

O: Excellent drinkability. Very smooth beer. A masterpiece
