22 ounce bomber poured into a snifter.

A: Pours a black color with a half finger head and no lacing.

S: Mostly milk chocolate with a touch of dark fruit and roasted malts.

T: Lots of chocolate up front, but there are some roasted malts as well.

M: Medium to heavy bodied with some carbonation. Smooth.

O: A little chocolate heavy for my tastes, but it's as advertised. Great for someone who wants a chocolate forward stout.

bottle into tulip

appearance: solid black with 1 finger tan head

smell: loads of chocolate, milky chocolate, roasted malt, minty chocolate, amazing smell

taste: huge milk chocolate flavors, not very bitter, just milky creamy chocolatey goodness. Some mint chocolate comes through in the aftertaste, with notes of vanilla and very subtle espresso flavors balanced in.

mouthfeel: so thick and full bodied you may think you're drinking a milkshake....exceptional

overall: I will have to do a blind test with a Stone IRS to determine my favorite, but this is probably equal. Amazing milk chocolate flavors, this is easily the most chocolate dominant stout i've had, luckily Souther Tier is literally everywhere so I will be buying this many, many times again.
