Poured from a bomber into a tulip glass. Beautiful orange color, it's the color of fall. Reminds me of autumn leaves and pumpkins.
The next thing I get is pie. Yep, pumpkin pie. I can smell the pumpkin, all the spices and definitely the crust. The smell is wonderful. Remindes me of thanksgiving dinner.
The taste is biscuity. Lots of vanilla, pumpkin, some caramel. It's tough to separate the taste from the smell. They are so similar. The mouth feel is nice. Good carbonation, not too light and virtually no alcohol. Surprising considering it's 9%.
Overall this is a great pumpkin ale. Not highly drinkable, maybe one or two but it's not a session beer. Highly recommended!
