All Hallow’s Eve is a time of the year when spirits can make contact with the physical world, and when magic is most potent. It is thought that we harness this magic to brew our powerful pumpkin ale. Not so, but it is with great respect to the magic of their trade that our brewers produce this fine beer. Take a whiff of this complex ale and your journey has just begun. At first sip, a magical spell will bewitch your taste buds, yet another victim enraptured by the Pumking.

This is the best pumpkin beer on the market for sure. I have tasted a countless amount, and I always go back to this one for the taste of Fall and wanting to taste pumpkin pie or pumpkin directly. Absolutely delicious.

12 oz bottle pours a clear orange with small white head but good lacing. Smell and aroma are exactly like pumpkin pie - mostly pumpkin but with noticeable vanilla, nutmeg, cloves, and bread crust. Taste is sweet with little if any hops bitterness. Body is medium with alcohol well hidden. Mouthfeel is creamy with perhaps a bit too much carbonation. Much better than I expected, since I normally avoid pumpkin beers.

12oz bottle, best by JUL 09 27. Thanks to Ken for making me revisit this after at least 15 years
L: golden body; foamy off-white head
S: bready malt, mild pumpkin and spice
T: white bread crust, toasted malt, clove, cinnamon, all spice perhaps, pumpkin, earthy hops
F: medium body, ample carbonation, kind of a sour and bitter finish
O: for pumpkin beers, this one is one of the better ones I’ve had

Ever thought to yourself, I would love to drink a pumpkin pie? That is what this beer is, nutmeg, cinnamon, crust, cream topping. Very sweet beer with high abv,

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass; no known birth date. Really great looking beer; one inch of foamy that slowly recedes. Golden brown color with great mix of pumpkin, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Slightly sweet but not overpowering. Great beer for the style.

Reviewing this brew from memory, have not had this in quite some time. This is my sixth brew reviewed from these guys. Don't love pumpkin beer, this is probably my favorite.

The artwork on the label has been changed. Same beer.
12 oz bottle into a tulip glass.
L: Pours a rich bright orange gold pumpkin color with a creamy 1/4" head that has good retention, lush steady carbo, medium weight spooky & frothy lacing around the entire glass with some rhythmic back banding.
S: Cereal grains, pumpkin pie spices, a hint of butterscotch, a light bready note, distant molasses.
T: Caramelized malts, pumpkin pie spice with citrus zest, allspice, pine resin, it is moderately sweet with hop resins that weigh in and offer tanginess. It is essentially fruit-forward tasting and hoppy.
F: Brisk then very smooth and gently creamy with a medium bodied mouthfeel and a long moderately dry finish.
O: This is the best Pumpkin Beer I've had. To start, the base beer is simply amazing and drinks so easy. Incredible feel. For 8.6% that's scary! It has a beautiful balance of flavors and is also quite eye-catching. It is outstanding in its style.
