Appearance: Hazy orange with a bubbly off white head. Reminiscent of a DIPA.

Aroma: Interesting in its uniqueness. Big pureed pumpkin presence along with a very buttery graham cracker or biscuit smell. Also a hint of the usual ginger and nutmeg that appear in most Pumpkin Ales.

Taste: The rumors I've heard about this beer are correct: It tastes like liquid pumpkin pie. What separates it from others of the style is how they are able to incorporate the pie crust flavor as well. There is even a buttery creaminess that reminds me of whipped cream. They do a fantastic job of hiding the modest 8.6% abv, but there is a nice warming sensation from the alcohol.

Mouthfeel: The upper end of medium bodied and very smooth.

Final Thoughts: This is right up there with the best Pumpkin Ales (which are few and far between). The added graham cracker taste sets it apart and makes it one to seek out as we head into October.
