Pours a transparent, deep copper with a 1-finger light yellow head. Moderate lacing.
The smell is grassy, herbal with a slight pine hop character & tobacco. Taste consists of earthy and grassy hops along with woody malt flavors and sweet cigars. Mouthfeel is acidic, liquor-like and medium-bodied.
This is not as hoppy as I would expect. Lots of cigar & malt qualities. Has an ending that's liquor-like. The alcohol is actually hidden quite well up until the end.
