12oz bottle from a 6-pack purchased at Ryan's Party Store in Port Huron, MI.
A: clear amber hue with a thick off-white cap and sheets of lacing on the snifter.
S: navel orange, peach, apricot, pear, red grape, earthy and floral hops, slight roast, bubblegum, must, and spice box.
T: citrusy and zesty hops upfront, roasted-bready malts and mild caramel sweetness mid-palate, dried orange peel, green grape, and a grassy-astringent bitterness to end.
M: full side of medium-bodied, smooth and creamy middle, punchy, citric and spicy hop bite precedes a drying bitter finish. Grapey grassiness lingers on the palate, alcohol warms the inners.
O: a well-hopped and unconventional old ale. Strikes me as a cross between an Extra Special Bitter and Winter Warmer. I look forward to savouring my last bottle.

L- Clear amber topped with a thin off white head. Head fades slowly to a ring and leaves a bit of spotty lace on the glass.

S- Caramel, spice, candied fruit, and floral hops notes. The nose on this one is subtle.

T- Malty notes at first, caramel and spice right away. Hints of sweet candied fruit, raisin and a floral hop note balance out the malt and lead to a dry finish. The finish is slightly bitter with hops notes and a slight warming alcohol effect.

M- Medium in body and carbonation,

O- Nice take on the style, the 7.0% ABV is well hidden and this one represents the style well.

Poured 12 oz bottle into stemless wine glass. Copper color , clear look with small off white head which dissolves quickly leaving ring with good lacing and legs. Nice looking ale. Smell was roasted grain, floral hops with fruity -citrusy notes. Also some booziness. Notes on bottle mention 2 types of malt and 3 of hops. I want to higher rating here but the booziness overwhelms a bit. Is this only 7 abv ? Reminds a little of BW style.
Taste is sweet malt up front with a nice hops bite and the booze is there again.
Mouthfeel is medium body with some creaminess with good carbonation, though again the booze pushes through. Overall this is a pleasant ale with some complexity though I'd like to try again without the alcohol so upfront. Seems more of a barleywine and feels like much more abv than listed
