A: Thin head. Clear, nutty. Bronze. A few bubbles.

S: Grainy, some hops. A little malty. Not a strong smell at all.

T: Some bitter hops. Piney. Some sweet, bready malts. Nice, but not a very powerful taste.

M: Some carbonation, but it's going flat (product of time in the growler I suspect). Otherwise, smooth, kind of dry in the aftertaste, but all in all, kind of thin.

O: Good, easy drinking. One to share with friends. Might have one in the future, but I'd sooner seek out other IPAs I prefer.

Rather nice mouthful of rich fruity flavors. Touch of citrus peel, but not the endless pithy bitterness. Quite dark amber color in the pint glass. Mouth filling carbonation. Lots of dark roasted malt. Toasty. Light bodied, just a slight sticky hint of extra malt. Nice slash of sharp, pine-scented hops. Big hop flavor but modest bitterness. Scent not very noticeable.

One of Second Street's July IPA series on tap. Tasted at the Railyard tap room. Bar promotion says this one is 58 IBU and the hops are Chinook, Centennial, and Fuggles.
