Notes:
This is the “old” style of ale that the area around Düsseldorf, Germany is famed for. This brew is marked by a refreshing bittersweet beginning followed by a mingling of caramel flavor and spicy aromatic German hallertau noble hops. We brought in a traditional yeast strain from a Düsseldorf brewery just for this beer.

Draft pint at the Second Street Brewpub at the Railyard in Santa Fe. Arrived a dark copper with a rocky tan head. Inviting citrus hop aroma. A huge malt hit on first sip followed by a woody and Hallertau hop aftertaste. Nice. Described as using a "traditional yeast strain from a Dusseldorf brewery." A fine rendition.
