Appearance is very good. The lacing is very impressive on this one due to the good head and lacing. Similar to a German pils such as Warsteiner.
Aroma is very mild pilsner type herbal hops.
The taste is a little soapy with a definite lingering bitterness. Lacking the delicacy of the best German pils but pretty nice.
Overall, for a very cheap beer this is very good. Nice bitterness and packs a good punch for a sessionable beer at 5.5%. Not very far l behind Bitburger or Warsteiner but lacking their hebal hop character.

Rereviewing...Lech is a pretty solid great value pilsner, hopefully being a little stronger and hopefully with more hops, this will be an improvement!
Fairly watery colour, fizzy head...top notch German hops style aroma. Very inviting, would be amazing in summer for sure (the aroma, not sure about the flavour yet).
Much smoother than most Polish lagers and pilsners. Not as much yeasty flavour. A little sweet...and glucose syrup is on the ingredients. It actually seems sweeter than the standard Lech. Which is strange, considering this is supposed to be the pilsner version...
Aroma was promising, but the taste unfortunately doesn't quite match it. It actually seems to have less hops than the Lech Premium. And it seems sweeter. Not a fan of this at all, though I did think the Lech Premium was pretty good. Mouth feel is quite thin, and there are not many tongue sensations and the hops aftertaste is rather subtle. Sweet malt, honey and not much else dominate the flavour. I'm not a fan of this at all, Lech Premium is much better...I was expecting this to be more bitter and have more hops, but it seems not to be the case ; ) This seems to have lots more sugar and less hops...plus the bottle looks like it is alcohol free or something ; )

I used to drink this in Poland thirty years ago. Either it has changed or my taste has. I recall loving it back then. Now it’s a bit too bready for my taste. It reveals itself too quickly. I drank a second one the next day and liked it a little better.

-Not a lot of smell.
-First taste is clearly bitter.

At brewery in pint glass. Dark yellow with one inch head. Nice lacing. Slightly bitter taste and very light aroma. If you like Pils this is worth a try.

Clear and gold with an initially strong but ultimately patchy white head. Metallic aroma, fresh pale malt and a twang of soapy hops – nothing else. Pure, clean, and pointless. Snappy with the hops and the fine carbonation, but without any character. There is a flash of good flavor here and it leaves me wanting more, in more ways than one. Much better than the original Lech, but a far cry from an actual pilsner.
