Notes:
Our organic continental lager has a deep golden hue, a giant rocky white head with a malty sweet nose. The first taste is sweet but leads quickly to a dry hoppy bitter finish. In the German style, Mill Street Pilsner finishes dry and is an excellent accompaniment to food or an excellent thirst quencher on its own.

A - Nice bright light amber colour. Finger of head, disappearing quickly.
S - Light malt smell, spicy, herbal hops. Not a ton of aroma to be honest.
T - Nice flavor. Crisp malt up front, spicy hop part way through, finishing nice and dry with a bit of bitterness. Well balanced.
M - Very smooth, nice carbonation on this one.
D - Very drinkable.

Pint at the Ottawa location. From notes.
A - Poured golden, bright, very mild carbonation. One finger of white head with ok lace and a half finger of retention.
S - Mild noble hop, grainy.
T - Noble hop, grain, cereal, the noble hop and grainy notes blend well but the grain wins out a bit.
M - Nice carbonation, medium body, crisp with a slight hoppy finish.
O/D - A nice crisp pils. Not great and needs more of that wonderful noble hop punch, but it's good.

Bottle from the brewpub store, unidentifiable code printed on the bottle neck. 355ml bottle into a tulip.
Hazy golden brown, with a couple fingers of a solid white cap. Sheets of lace but only modest retention. Nose is full of Noble hops, a light sweetness. Generally herbal and a hint of spice, but has a stinky quality that I always seem to associate with the hops. A bit of grass and floral forest. Taste is well hopped and pleasantly, more Noble character with some nice fruity notes. A bit of lemon rind and maybe even a tropical hint in there even. Some malt sweetness, lightly sugary in quality. Bitter finish, but of moderate length and encouraging of the next sip. Body is on the lighter side of medium, and carbonation is just about medium as well - complements the body well. One of the better Mill Street offerings I think, quite enjoyable and certainly sessionable. Would've been nicer to have a greater access to this this past summer.

pours a clear light golden colour with a small amount of head - leaves a little bit of lacing that also faded quickly.
smell was malty, grainy and also had a sweetness to it.
taste was similar - malty, grainy. good carbonation and drinkability. not an overly interesting pilsner, but okay enough.

355 mL undated bottle poured into pokal. From seasonal six-pack available at NSLC.
Pours a surprisingly orange body with a fizzy white head that is gone in the blink of an eye. Lots of carbonation visible in the clarity.
Earthy noble hop nose with grainy sweet malt.
Sweet honey biscuit tasted first with underlying floral and earthy bitterness that comes out more near the finish.
Medium light body, nicely mild carbonation and a dry clean finish.
Decent beer, refreshing and flavorful, though there are better options in the style.

355ml bottle poured into a 16oz pint glass.
A - Just under a finger-and-a-half of bubbly white head that fizzles down quickly. Darker than expected hue, as it's a deep golden-orange. Little head retention, with minimal lacing.
S - Light malt and a pleasant leafy hop presence. Slightly underwhelming.
T - Really malty on the first sip. Lots of floral sweetness and light malt, with a light hop finish. Sweet caramel and biscuit. Finishes with a grassy, floral hop, but the bitterness is really subdued. Overall, really sweet and grassy, with a light hop presence. Strong malt presence is exaggerated as it warms. Enjoyable.
M - Light carbonation, with a medium bodied feel. Compliments the flavor well.
D - I've only tried one other Czech Pilsener (Paddock Wood's Czech Mate) and this definitely didn't pack the same hoppy punch that one did. That being said, this is still a really enjoyable and easy-drinking pilsener worth drinking again.

fizzy yellow lots of carbonation. quickly dissipating head.
some interesting aromas, something sweet underlying, honey, vanilla.
crisp medium dry with very little flavor or taste all around. some more of the sweetness in the aftertaste. quite nice.
beer is thirst quenching and drinkable but offers very little to be excited about. some sips are quite watery and tasteless.
not bad but nothing interesting here whatsoever.

Found this one in the singles bin at the LCBO, considering ive tried all the other beers in the Mill st taste pack I just saved myself $10 because ive been looking to try this one...just didn't want to buy an entire sixer for one beer.
A- Nice golden color, small white head leaves lace. Lively big bubbles.
S- Nice malt, grassy, touch of honey and biscuit, slight citrus.
T- Grainy malt, slight fruit - green apple/citrus, honey sweetness, hops are both herbal and grassy but bitterness is on the low side side.
M- is clean and fresh with lively carbonation.
D- refreshing.
Overall a decent enough Pils but there is better offerings available. Worth a try and even a six pack or two.

S - sweet malt and floral hops
T - sweet malt, biscuit, floral hops
M - medium bodied for the style, little
bitterness, lightly carbonated, smooth
O - not my favourite style but I found this to be a well balanced flavourful pilsener

Bottle: Poured a bright golden color pilsner with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of lightly sweet malt base with some very subtle floral notes. Taste is also dominated by lightly sweet malt with some very subtle floral notes. Hops presence was very light and almost discernable. Body is a bit fuller then average with good carbonation. Not bad overall but too sweet for my taste buds.

Pale deep golden colour , slight white head and slight lacing. Smell is malty, biscuit, light grassy/floral notes, faint citrus and mild hop. Taste is malty, floral hoppy notes, lemon and biscuit. High carbonation, light to med body, thin and watery at points. Not bad, sort of macro like, drinkable but not overly impressive.

Pours a deep amber-golden colour with a moderate off white head that settles as a collar. There is a visible streak of carbonation running up one side of my glass.
I think this smells wonderful. Freshwater, grains and butterscotch. Develops a hearty booze smell, floral notes and a spicy cinnamon-like tone as it warms.
More sweet and malty up front than I'd expect. Very dry backing though. Simple, but good.
Mouth is prickly at first, then slides down the throat leaving a malty resin on the back of the tongue.
This is pretty much out of character in most ways for the style, but a good beer nonetheless and one I'll be sure to try again.

A- Pale gold with respectable head, and pretty good carbonation as well.
S- Skunk, grains, and a tad of caramel.
T- Nice and crisp. Good amount of caramel malts for sweetness, and enough hops to keep it in check. Cereal grains make a display in the aftertaste. The main taste seems to vanish soon after the beer is off of your tongue though.
M- Medium light body and carbonation is just right.
D- Easy to down and a bit more flavorful than a lot of Czech pilsners. Would be a great drink for a hot summer day. Probably in the upper half of the Mill Street offerings.

A:Fairly clear light copper color. Poured with a half finger of white head. Just a touch of lacing. The clarity is there but the color is a little bit darker than I like to see my pilsners.
S: The nose is mostly bready grains. A little bit of hops and that smell I can only describe as the pilsner smell. Quite a powerful nose for the style.
T: Big malty pilsner. ? . Lots of grain comes through. Toffee. Seems like they mashed a little on the high side.
M: The carbonation is there but the body is a little on the heavy side for the style.
D: I liked this beer but it is not a good example of a pilsner. A little bit off style.

341ml bottle poured into a pint glass
Appearance - golden amber, medium size foamy/fizzy white head that sticks around for a while. Great carbonation and some decent lacing
Smell - hops, slight pilsner sunk, roasted malts
Taste & Mouth - perfect carbonation, crisp, hops up front, dry bitter after taste, citrus zest notes
Drink - wow, another great Canadian brew from right next-door, very happy I tried it and I will definitely be drinking more.
