look: 4 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.5 | feel: 4.5 | overall: 4.5
This one has now been featured at two separate beer tasting/brewing events under the Seven Bridges name and because it is not economical, it will probably never be available on such a large scale however it is incredibly good and won at a local beer competition between established craft breweries/microbreweries so I felt it should be added since it appears to be intended to remain an offering at marketing events.
A: thin head on a dark brown murky body with reddish tints when held to the light.
S: roasted malts with a easy to decipher white chocolate sweet aroma. A touch of burnt toast and smokiness.
T: Lots of white chocolate perfectly blended with roasted/toasted malts. It is sweet but not TOO sweet with the white chocolate providing a nice balance between the earthy hops and slightly bitter roasted malts.
M: full bodied and light carbonation (probably none as I believe this one was casked. nicely smooth.
Overall: Too bad this one is too pricey to brew on a large scale. It seems like it will appear at marketing events so I will continue to look for it when I attend those around Jacksonville. If you get a chance, have a couple of these.
