The beers are very over-priced and they don’t have anything you can’t find in stores around the area. The beers are served ice cold. However, the bartenders are friendly, and the beers are listed to style fairly well. The single malt menu is cool and the hard-tipped darts are fun. They certainly do have a lot of bottles, but they are mainstream beers from around the world. Tap selection is pretty poor. Worth a look though, the wall decor is quite interesting. So many good Michigan beers and they only have 2-3 average ones on tap. Reviewed on: 04-26-2004 15:02:49
tanfastic ( Morgantown, West Virginia )A- / 4.2vibe: 3 | quality: 4 | service: 4 | selection: 5 rDev: +7.1%This bar boasts having 250 different beers from around the world and they aren't kidding. Though they only have 10 taps (a few of which rotate monthly) they more than likely have any bottled beer you could think of, and serve pithers as well. The 50 most popular beers are displayed on a large chalkboard above the bar, and for the others you can refer to one of their menus. The "tap room" has a dive bar atmosphere, however, the patrons are twentyand thirty-somethings who enjoy a great selection of beer and a relaxed atmosphere. They also have an extensive scotch menu and various types of cheeses, or you can settle for a basket of peanuts (don't worry about tossing the shells on the ground). Just watch out for the fat cat that saunters around the bar and wouldn't move for a Mack truck.. Reviewed on: 05-04-2003 00:13:35
