Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice off-white head that dies down moderately fast and leaves nice lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, bready notes, slight citrus and earthiness and some spices.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has a some Belgian yeast, some breadiness, citrus from the hops, slight earthiness, a touch of spices and subtle maple syrup.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a very nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.

A:
Pours clear light amber with a supre bubbly head that evaporates right away. There is still lots of carbonation but it resemble yellowish cream soda more than beer.
S:
Sweet and cool with banana and vanilla smells.
T:
Hoppier than I expected. Lemon and grass.
M:
Lemon and yeasty carbonation, folowed by apricots and a fairly full hoppy-medicinal finish.
O:
Not really sure what to think. I wasn't expecting it to be super great and it wasn't bad, it was just just kind of weird (in my humble opinion). It is really sweet (which I ordinarily don't like) but it is hoppier than I thought it'd be. Kind of medicinal aftertaste which I don't mind, I guess. Tough one...
Decent, but I probably won't get it again.

Bottle: Poured a murky beige color ale with a generous off-white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma consists of semi-sweet Belgian malt with good notes of bready ester from the yeast strain. Taste is also dominated by some semi-sweet notes of honey and sweet flavoured Belgian malt with some light dry and flora hoppy notes and a spicy and bready yeast strain which carries lot of weight. Body is quite full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Easily drinkable while retaining some complexity makes for a very enjoyable beer.

Poured from a 750ml. bottle, lot #3132.
Appearance: Stark white head, massively invading the glass and leaving gobs of lacing behind. Honey colored body.
Smell: Mild yeast, lots of fruit with some spices.
Taste: Peaches, pears, strong yeast, fruit syrup, tingly spices in the back.
Mouthfeel: Clean, uncomplicated yet nice, refreshing.
Overall: Very impressed considering the source. The fact that this is commonly available in grocery stores makes it a good springboard for the uninitiated. Good price and good representation of the style.

Poured into a tulip glass.
A: Pours a beautiful medium blond/harvest gold/straw colour. Lots of bubbles followed by a bright white head that just keeps going if you're not careful with your pour! Head is thick with lots of micro-bubbles that will last as long as it takes to drink the beer, with remnants on the side of the glass even after you're finished.
S: Aroma of light spice/coriander, with some light hints of fruit on the nose along with a medium amount of yeast.
T: Following on from the smell, first taste is more yeast, followed again by some slight fruit flavours from the ample amount of Belgium style hops...flavours are very well balanced here with nothing standing out of place.
M: Nice amount of carbonation but very well balanced and very smooth. Combined with a very smooth head, this is an easy drinking Belgium but reminds you that it is still 7% ABV.
O: Overall this is a very good example of a Belgium style Blonde, from outside of Belgium. (Though it's no wonder that the brewmaster is from Belgium....) The beer looks great, smells good and is very refreshing to drink, making it not only good for a summer sipper, but also goes great with food. It might not quite rate up there with the top 5 Abbeye beers, but is a solid offering if you're tired of the usual suspects and looking to mix things up with something local...(in Quebec or some East Coast States). Recommended and I'd have it again...
