Acquired via trade from MilwaukeeCrusher, so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains lager yeast, honey, light caramelized malts, some citrus and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of honey and citrus up front. Then some breadiness comes in from the lager yeast and a thin malt character. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.

M: Crisp and a little smooth, light-to-medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down very easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent lighter representation of style, this is a solid beer to pound down for a long time.

A - pours with one finger of white foam on top of a clear, copper colored body. The head settles quickly and leaves light lace.

S - light malt with some musty hops and a hint of honey.

T - rich, bready malt with some honey and herbal hops. Finishes with bread, toffee, and mild bitterness.

M - medium body, moderate carbonation, and a dry finish.

D - not bad, some malt character with enough hops to balance. Good for what it is.

Single finger head with trace lacing. Head doesnt last long. Body is hazy golden with amber hues. Bread and sweet caramel, standard aroma. Mostly caramel malt in the flavor. Very light hop and burnt toast flavor. Medium body and light to moderate carbonation. Overall a little bland. Smooth and drinkable. Less hoppy than I like my ocktoberfest beers.

found this one in the back of the fridge but still pretty decent so will go ahead and review it and and maybe update it next summer when it rolls out again

poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass

A-nice ochre color with about a finger of head that faded rather quickly, but settled to a nice ring that stuck around

S-some faint carmel malt and a little grain type smell

T-decent taste may have lost a little hops in the last couple months but has some nice carmel malts but I still have some grain so maybe you could say it has a carmel corn taste followed with a little spiced hop at the end

M-fairly light bodied but carbonation is good

O-good easy drinking beer worth a try again when it comes out again next summer

Bottle purchased from Piccadilly in Champaign, IL.

Poured into a standard US pint glass.

Pours an impressive, very dense, 2cm head of small bubbles. This recedes in a few minutes, leaving a ton of lacing and a 0.5cm membrane atop the beer. Body is a light, transparent orange-copper color with visible, active carbonation.

Aroma is primarily of lightly toasted malt and some faint, generic sweetness.

Taste opens with flowery, somewhat herbal hops and fades to a gentle, light maltiness with a spicy hop finish. Toasted flavors are abundant, alongside malt characters, sugars, and some hops.

Medium to medium-light bodied, not watery, gentle carbonation that makes the beer foam up a bit on the palate. Finish is dry.

This is a sort of cross between an oktoberfest and wiesen stye, or so it would seem. I find this a good late-summer lager. A welcome precursor to the Oktoberfests that would surface a few weeks after this one's release.

A - Amber / light amber with a great amount of head and nice lacing.

S - Spicy and grassy hops with a light carmel scent

T - Spicy grassy hops, bread malt, and perhaps a mild hint of nuttiness and caramel

M - Smooth and moderate in carbonation

O - Good flavor that is easily drinkable and light enough not to be overly demanding

Had this on tap paired with a Cajun Chicken salad, poured from a pitcher into a standard pint glass.

A=Nice amber, a tad lighter than other Märzens; head was about 1/2" but left quickly.

S=Nice mix of hops and barley.

T=Very nice; a bit lighter than other Märzens, but perfect robust taste for summer.

M=Perfect...lighter for summer; very drinkable and more of a session beer than other Märzens.

O=Will be added to my rotation as a summer beer; probably earlier in the summer, so I don't have this back to back with Oktoberfests that come out in August. If you don't like summer wheat beers, this is a great alternative.

Poured out of a 12 oz bottle into my Cheers mug.

A) A pretty clean looking light amber. There was really no head, maybe a quarter inch. The head dissipated quickly, no lacing.

S) Mostly malt, some bread, light hops, kind of a light leafy smell.

T) Again, toasty malt, bread, a bit of sweetness and earthy tones. A very pleasant finish and aftertaste.

M) Toss up here, not light, not medium. It's a lighter medium bodied beer that is pretty crisp, not much bite. Pretty easy drinking.

O) There is nothing I really dislike here, however ther is also nothing that really stands out. It's a decent beer, and it's worth a try.

Appearance - Light amber. Clear and bubbly. Short white, fizzy, quickly dissipating head.

Smell - Mild to moderate lightly toasted malt.

Taste - Mild toasted malt with a hint of mild spiciness. Dry finish. Slightly watery.

Mouthfeel - Medium and smooth.

Overall - Not quite the hint of Oktoberfest I was hoping for. Inoffensive, but not real distinctive.

A good summer beer; easy drinking and not too heavy but beyond that it is pretty average.

The look in the glass was not impressive to me at all. It was very light and clear and looked like a cheap macro beer to me.

The smell and taste are grainy, bread-like and a little hint of sweetness. A plus is that it reminds me of an Oktoberfest (which makes sense since it is that style) so that serves as a nice preview for the fall selections that will be out in a few months.

There is a fair amount of carbonation when I take a sip.

So again, a decent summer brew but nothing that wowed me.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Sam Adams perfect pint.

This one pours a nice amber color, with a nice head, nice lacing, nice retention, all around good looking. The smell is pretty simple, grainy malts and not too much else. The taste is quite a bit better, I don't get any of the graininess from the nose, just a nice, smooth, and very drinkable maltiness. The mouthfeel is good, and the drinkability is excellent. Just a nice, drinkable Marzen, which is all I'd want from the style.
