On tap in a pint glass.

Nice looking copper color. Clean and lively with a 1F white head and nice rings of lacing.

Mild pale and caramel malt aromas. Not much of noticeable hops, just a touch of citrus. Slightly alcohol-strong.

It was not what I'd call American IPA flavor. Malty, minimal hops, some alcohol, caramel.

Medium body, good carbonation. The alcohol smell does not translate to a burn, and it finishes smooth. But there's no hop presence.

Ok, I tried it and now it's "forgotten".

DATE: August 11, 2017... OCCASION: expecting Jer and Matt for a golfing weekend, and planning to give them some Jersey brews... GLASSWARE: Maudite snifter... pours from a can a hazy, sallow yellow body, murky and opaque like the water the shark may have struck in... a thick, clumpy snow white head that leaves a skyline of clouds around the glass's rim... grapefruit, resin, lemon, tangerine, and a bit of booziness that hints at the 6.9% ABV... smooth, creamy, almost too easy in its movement through the throat--lacks the effect of any weight associated with an IPA, though, especially at its entrance and exit... almost syrupy in its sip, an appreciable lacing screens the whole glass as it is sipped... the flavor profile is more lemon than stone fruit, more melon than grapefruit--surprising, but not off-putting... secondary dough malts provide some balance, but this NJ beer seems a decidedly West Coast approximation.... light, crisp, and tipped with enough resin to approximate the style, though it lacks the robust profile that leads to higher ratings... an overall fair representation, but not one I would spend my money on when so many other quality IPAs are available--locally, even...

Can to nonic pint glass, the appearance was a slight golden burnt yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy sliding head, not much lace. The aroma had some soupy sweet fruity hops playing with a gentle bitterness and then some light grassy hops. The flavor played with the balance of sweet to bitter off and on and back through each other never fully blending. Aftertaste was soupy fruity hops. Finish was the same. The palate was between light and medium on the body. Some sessionability. Moderate carbonation. ABV felt fine. Overall, decent at best, but the aroma and flavor doesn’t seem cohesive enough.

Murky pale amber topped with a towering head of silky white that seems content to maintain the place of its vantage point. Great white indeed. I wouldn't say that it has left any lacing as the liquid volume recedes, but more tufts and clumps still cling to the side of the glass, like the drifts found on the floor of a white animal prone to shedding.

Nose is immediately.... clean. Can't think of a better way to describe it. There is an appealing nature to this cleanliness. Not that of crisp hops and malts joined by their living denizens of yeast, but a whole lot of florid language that even I'm too self-aware to type. Fresh grains meet lightly perfumed hops. Airy. Light of spirit but not of flavour.

Leafy and zesty leading into the spicy finish denoted on the can. The veneer of sweet peaches too were prophesied if one took the care to read the can. Finish is spicy giving way to pine.

Delightfully carbonated, thin, and dry to the end.
Included in the NBS BIF#4 MWK box from @TongoRad. Thanks Michael, I really enjoyed this one!
