5oz pour into snifter glass by Dexter's Pub barkeep in Madison, WI.
Appearance: redish bodied beer with no head.
Smell: fairely tart beer with some oak and malts. cherries and berries seem to come to mind.
Taste: Moderately sour and a touch fruity again the cherries and berries. Nice oaky flavor. A touch of malts in there too. Nice balance. It reminds me of a really sour flanders red.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer with low carbonation.
Overall: Great sour beer. I would love it if this was bottled. Really glad I stopped at Dexters just to see if anything interesting was on draft because this beer was well worth the stop as I was passing through madison on wednesday!

A - pours a faint reddish amber with hints of golden yellow with a small, creamy head
S - smells of wheat malts, vinegar, and citrus
T - the taste starts of with some sweet malts, that is quickly shoved aside by puckering sourness with a ton of citrus lemons and a little bit of vinegar. Pretty solid taste profile. Not uber complex, but pretty delicious.
M - medium body that finishes very dry
D - I had no idea what to expect with this beer as I haven't had anything from the brewery, but I was really pleasantly surprised. If there weren't so many other beers to try I would have ordered another.
