This half homebrew supply liquor store in the suburbs of Milwaukee is nice. Never busy when I go there during the work day and there is always this nice lady who can find anything you need in a jiffy. They stock your standard base malts in sacks, they do have a limited supply of yeasts and as I remember no White Labs just Wyeast. Large selection of extract kits and wine making kits as well. For the most part you can find anything that you may need for homebrewing from the ingredients to the hardware. I purchased my Polarware brewing pot from them at a great price for LHBS.

Geat stuff, a little high on equipment, but rocking on ingrediants for pricing. This is one of the best in the area. But it is outside the norm for a city guy like me. A Far drive from my haunting grounds. I used to work in the area, and one of the guys in our roup still does. They have very good stuff and their ingrediant kits are very good for those pick up and brew days.
The grain is fresh and they are definitely ahead of the curve on equipment. This is the place that those that are better at this hobby than I seem to like the best. They have all the bells and whistles. If you look hard though, you can find some deals and steals.

Brew City Supplies consists of two parts. A full-service liquor store in the front and a small home brew shop towards the back.
The quantity of brands that are carried seems limited, but they cover most of the products one would need to get to fullfill the ingredients of your home brew recipe. The lady who was working at the time was very helpful with gathering the ingredients that I needed for my recipe. She also had some suggestions for substitions to match the ingrediants I needed for a few of the items that they were out of. It seemed to work out fine. The home brew shop, like others I've been in, has a decent selection of reading material devoted to the hobby.
The liquor store upfront, in some aspects, was more exciting than the brew shop. They carry a fine selection of Belgian Ales, micro brews and imports. I hope to make a trip out again soon to grab a few of those. The staff's friendliness and ability to answer questions is a definitely plus. Located in the western suburbs, it's kind of a hike to get out there, but grab a nice Belgian Ale to accompnay your supply shopping and the trip will be well worth it.
