Cloudy orange/honey/amber with a fair head.
Exuberant aromas are piney-hoppy yet sweet/rich in their own way.
Lots of carbonation in the mouth, with decent intensity/persistence of hoppy flavors without excessive bitterness.
A good hoppy brew that doesn't dry the palate.

A 12 oz bottle. No "bottled on" date. Purchased February 5, 2013. Beer foamed out of the bottle upon opening. A healthy pour into a pint glass.
A - Honey colored and slighty cloudy pour. Lots of carbonation. Huge white rocky head. Excessive foam.
S - Resin, some sweet floral, citrus, nice grapefruit.
T - Hop up front, hop in the middle, hop on the backside.
MF - A little effervescent. Dry.
O - This was the beer that made me realize how much I loved hoppiness, but it is not the beer it was ten or even five years ago. The beer is still above average, but I can no longer drink it since it is just a shell of its former self.

an opaque orange in color with 2 fingers of fluffy white head... slight over carbonation.
smells of sweet malt and subtle grapefruit, hint of strawberry. a weird tasting beer.. hints of caramel, banana, earthy bitterness.. just really off taste throughout.. oxidation maybe. medium body, moderate carbonation (which is weird because of all the over fizz during the initial pour).
a little bit odd of a beer.. not sure what they were going after. it's a murky orange, off-tasting, and slightly over carbonated. either i got one hell of a terrible bottle, or this is just not a good beer at all.

I poured this beer into my tumbler at 50 degrees. The beer poured one of the most fat and puffy heads I have ever poured or seen. Held on good also. Beer Color was amber/orange and beer was cloudy. The smell was hoppy as was the taste. The beer had a bit of a bitter finish also. I will not buy again.

Drank straight from the bottle. In my hotel room.
A: Loads of suspended sedinemt in the bottle. Whispy tendrils of yeast slowly float through the bottle.
S: Mildly piney with notes of grass and yeast. Caramel malt adds some balance.
T: Nice harvest hop flavors. Thankfully, the caramel takes a back seat to the hops.
M: Initially, quite dry and bitter. Eventually its' hop oil side shows itself and makes for a slightly sticky and spicy finish.
O: No freshness date, but this seemed like a very well made and fresh APA. Nice!

Slight floral notes on the nose with a little bit of grass. Its a bit weak, unfortunately, because the scents are good - just wish they were more pronounced.
Hop Pocket brings a hazy dark honey color liquor topped with an off-white head that just doesn't go away. Seriously, I think this is the most stable head I have ever encountered in a beer before. I wish it was filtered, might add to the appearance a bit. Really really really nice lacing earns much of it's appearance score.
Flavor is nice! Starts off with a bit of a combination of carbonation bite and bitterness that work in conjunction with each other. The individual flavors are pretty good too: freshly mowed grass, grapefruit, and then it finishes with a sweet note like kiwi or something a bit more on the tropical side. I really like the flavor combinations.
Highly highly carbonated, not to sound gross, but the belches alone are plentiful. Moderate body and a 6% ABV make this quite easy to drink, though not entirely session able. Overall, this beer is okay. I wouldn't buy a 4-pack again, but I wouldn't turn one down if someone wanted to treat me.
