Still tastes like beer! A perfect balance; subtle enough citrus tastes from the tea and marmalade; I was really happy with what was an unlikely choice for me. Colour is very attractive, as is the smell (which is to be expected). Brewhouse is a great little spot to boot.

one of the more clever and innovative and high quality craft beers i had around toronto, this one on tap at king taps. its a great brew, a clean but grainy saison spiked with earl grey tea and orange, both in tasteful proportion, enough to come through and accent, but to still respect the simple rustic nature of the base beer. its a pretty pour too, several inches of rising white wispy head rest atop a sunny colored orange brew with just a little haze. fresh orange flesh and juice in the nose, a fragrant almost perfumey tea element, and some crackery wheat malt, simple and elegant, but also robust and complex, its the best of both worlds and the kind of flavored beer i like to drink. the additives contribute a lot, as a saison alone this is well made but maybe a little boring, the yeast ferments it dry and clean, but some funk would be welcomed here. the esters from it are awesome with the orange though, and the tea gives it a cool earthy finish where it might otherwise drag a little. instead the whole thing is fresh and vibrant and spingy with notes of lavender and coriander and lemongrass, lively and bright, love how dry it is too. a developed brett pitch to make this wild would make this amazingly unique and interesting, but i also really am digging its freshness. a great food beer as the extra ingredients arent too invasive. rushing carbonation makes it sing. an exceptional brew!

Beyond the gimmick, enjoyed on tap at the only cafe. Complex aroma, this is real ingredients. Hoppy and pepper finish seals the deal.spicy and mildly tart.
