Amber, slight haze and a decent head with moderate carbonation.
Malty aroma with some citrusy hop smell and a bit of spicy hop aroma as well. Bottle claims Cascade aroma hop additions, and the aroma does fit.
Flavor is a balanced malt/hop sweetness, followed by a hoppy bite (likely from the Chinook addition mentioned on the bottle) and a bitter finish that becomes quite smooth as it lingers.
Medium-light body. Quite pleasing and fairly refreshing.

I had this beer the other night while dining at BJ's. First time there, and this is one of their solid brews made on-site.
A- Decent white head, with a pleasant copper-amber color. Moderate carbonation present.
S- Smells of citrus and pine. Typical Cascade hop aromas.
T- More pine than a typical APA, almost closer to an IPA in that category. Some citrus notes mid-palate. Does a good job of avoiding "vinegar" bitterness present in some Pale Ales. Fairly balanced by caramel malt sweetness, finish slightly bitter but clean.
M- Clean and bubbly. I'd say roughly medium body.
D- A solid and fairly drinkable APA worth trying if you go to BJ's.

BJ's Brewhouse in El Paso, TX. Served in a pint glass.
Darker yellow than I thought I'd get, almost amber, with almost no head by the time it got to table. The smell was not as strong as expected; there's the usual pine but it's mostly a clean, slightly astringent scent with very mild citrus.
Decent pale ale. Moderate carbonation is perfect for this offering. Crisp, effervescent, with a good mouthfeel. Love the hops, but there could be just a little more going on here, especially on the back end.

This is my favorite brew from BJ's, and a great APA I believe it is. On tap at their West Covina, CA location.
First, the appearance is a clear burnt orange. A very nice 2 finger head, with a lacing that grips and holds the sides of the glass from the moment the first sip is consumed.
The smell is perhaps more piney than other APA's, a nice warning that you're about to be hit with a nice dose of refreshing hops, exactly what I want in a PA, without being too in your face like some IPA's.
The taste is great. PA is my favorite style of beer, and this one has a much more piney finish than most (love those cascade hops). Slightly citrusy at the beginning but a large does of hops at the end.
The drinkability as about as good as any PA i've had. In my opinion as far as drinkability it beats Sierra Nevada, another one of my favorites.
