Pours inky brown (if such a thing exists) and viscous.

Pleasing and dense milk chocolate head.

Flavor is initially of milk chocolate and roast barley, followed by a bitter hop and roast finish- very dry.

MF is pretty well all encompassing- this beer sticks with you for about half a minute, hot barley and hops roasting on your tongue.

Although a little bit overly dry and roasty for what I prefer- this is a nice beer. Definitely an imperial in every aspect of the word- especially the part where the troopers take over your palate and blast shit up until the salivary jedi can neutralize the balance of the force (flavor) and allow you to venture into the darkside again.

Good Beer Sunday
2010 in I snifter
A - black, thin creamed coffee head..a stout basically
S - bitter coffee smell, vanilla, I got some metallic or ash smell from it too maybe, there is an odd smell I can't put my finger on
T - again the light metallic, I keep thinking cherries (not fresh cherries), other usual stout tastes . Bitter end note
M - really nice mouthfeel, not super thick, not thin
O - don't get me wrong, it's a really good stout but I was expecting more, I would like to try a 1 - 2 year old as well. I'd just buy Ten Fidy instead of trading for this in the future
