Oggi's is a nice pizza brew pub with an almost family atmospher.
Hand crafted pizza's are excellent and the service is generally wonderful.
Beers are good although all are served at the same temperature and I think different temps should be available for different beers. Stouts, porters, and high octanes usually are better warm rather than the freezing temps of light lagers.
Also, my impression is that they are all aged equally where I think the stouts and porters could improve with more aging. Flavors seem to be lacking a blending that would come from aging.
I am looking forward to trying a take home growler of a few of their beers, however. Black Magic Stout is worth the trip by it's self and their pizza's can't be beat.
All in all a good dining experience.

Been here a couple times when I'm meeting a friend from north county. Otherwise, I'd be going to Pizza Port with no hesitation.
Sports on TV, seating can feel cramped. I don't think I've ever had the best service in the world either.
Beer offerings are good considering the location. None of the beers really stand out though. Pizza is actually pretty good.
If you live close by and need a good sports bar, this is an OK choice. 10 times out of 10 I will recommend pizza port over this place if you're willing to drive a bit further south. Both places are relatively close to the freeway, so spend a few extra minutes on the 5 South and drive down to Pizza Port. If you're coming from down south, I wouldn't dream of passing up PP to come here.

Cool joint, lots of car talk, racing, sports, ect... Tried a Torrey Pines IPA, awesome, good and hoppy. Then I ordered up a bottle of Hop Juice at a patrons suggestion, and it was very good, a bit hoppier and stronger than the Torrey and a very good double IPA. I believe it is brewed elsewhere (Left Coast).
Ordered up the personal house pie for dinner, it has fresh tomato, green pepper, sausage, mushroom and was very fresh and delicious.
TVs everywhere, but the best attraction is the brewing equipment. Right snack in the middle and meticulously clean (do they actually use it).The whole place is very clean, and has a cozy feel to it. Definitely not a cooker cutter chain establishment vibe.
Worth the trip multiple times if you are nearby.

For a Philadelphia guy, say "ah-gee's" This joint is damn near one of the best beer brew pub joints on Earth! Clean ambiance with a beautiful open brewing area. Brass banded stainless steel kettles abound.
Killer atmosphere with a TV in the bathroom. Yes! There is a TV in the bathroom. Beer selection is killer. Against my better judgment, their sampler was calling and it killed! Scotch, IPA, Stout, and others. Due to respect, the sampler is not reviewed but OGGI'S BEERS ARE EXCELLENT!!!
Gal behind the bar was quite freindly. A guy next me attempted to call the brewmaster to decipher the hops in the IPA.
Selection roxx! Full bar and great food as per the locals. The sampler is money!
Last call: Could you take your Mommy here? A solid Yes! Thanxx Ken! This beer pub junkie got a fix!

The beer here is about average quality microbrew. Occassionally, they surprise you a winner (they had a 9% ABV Bock on draught last weekend). There are lots of TV's w/ ballgames on, so it is enjoyable to sit there and have dinner & beer. It's kid-friendly, so you can bring the family.

A bit slow for a Friday afternoon so I had a chance to talk with the brewmaster, Dean Rouleau, so that added a lot to the experience. Nice quiet setting in a business park area of Mission Viejo. Good parking available. Helpful, but busy staff. Huge pizza are one object of affection; handcrafted beers the other. Plenty of brewpub choices, plus lots of bottled beer from other brewers. Good place for pizza and a beer.
