A seasonal from Sam Adams.

Pours out brown with amber hues and a one finger off-white/brown head.

The aroma is full of hazelnuts, caramel malt, toffee and toasted malt.

The taste also has a lot of hazelnuts, some caramel malt sweetness, toffee and roasted malt. Very sweet for a Brown Ale.

The mouthfeel was thin and the body pretty light.

I wish this beer was a little less sweet and more balanced, but it's not a bad beer.

Appearance: Reddish/brown/amber; clear; big frothy beige head; long lasting

Aroma: Roasted malts; slight hazelnuts and chocolate (cocoa); coffee

Taste: Malty and nutty on start; creamy; quick move to dry, nutty notes in the middle with some bittersweet chocolate notes; finishes nutty and slightly dry

Remarks: Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores
