A: Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Body is hazy dark yellow/golden with a 1-finger fluffy white head. Leaves some good splotchy lace.

S: Wheat twanginess and definite hops - mainly citrus, but with some pine. Apricot is noted, but if I didn't know it was there I might not realize it.

T: Wheat foundation, along with some sweetness, is followed by grapefruity citrus. Also the "greener" hop flavors: some pine needles (and a hint of pine resin) and grass. Nice balance overall, with wheat twang, malt sweetness and hoppy bitterness all in the appropriate balance. Finishes nicely semi-dry, with a faint bit of the apricot. Reminds me of a white wine in some ways. Surprisingly for a beer of this relative low ABV (5.8%), I'm feeling alcohol warmth on the way down.

M: Light-to-medium in heft. Good creaminess; carbonation is soft.

O: I'm fairly impressed with this as an easy-drinking summer IPA/wheat hybrid. Good stuff.

Pours a hazy golden-straw color with very heavy lacing and an extreme amount of floaters. Smells of yeast, piney hops, white bread, and citrusy hops. Complex smell that combines the amerianc IPA and belgium IPA but seems a little muted, though.

Tasts starts with piney hops, then lemon and orange, with a piney-bready-yeasty finish. Definitely taste the spices throughout as long with a hint of apricot. Not as much hop aroma or flavor as I would hope for though. Mouthfeel is light with moderate-heavy carbonation. A nice mix of Belguim & American IPA's, this is one of the better BBC beer i've tried so far.
