Notes:
Borne of our brewers’ many trips to Germany, Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Noble Tettnang hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.

New spring seasonal from SA... All the Winter Lager is finally gone from these parts and this has hit the shelves... Best by August so it should be nice and fresh...
Usually don't mention appearance as I feel its trivial when rating a beer but this is cloudy and golden and frothy and beautiful... I dig it...
Definite honey sweetness to the aroma from the malts and a surprisingly pungent Noble hop blast as well... Smells rather German, if you will... Surprisingly pleasant...
Big blast of the hops up front with a wave of honey sweetness riding the wave as well... The Tettnang hops give this a piney kick with a hint of tartness and the honey maltiness smooths it out on the finish... My only real complaint is that its a little thin and watery... A little more fullness would make this better...
I liked this... Balanced nicely with a nice piney kick...
