Wow. I really like this beer. Another winner from Sam.

Dark deep red color with a beige 3/4 inch head that stays around long after the pour.

One of the few spiced beers available that doesn't overdo it. The balance of malt versus cinnamon and ginger is just about perfect.

It's too bad it only comes in sets of two with the Winter mix 12 pack. Would love to have a 6-pack on a cold winter's night.

Appearance is a very nice dark brown ale with beautiful 2 finger frothy head and decent retention.

Smell of nice malts and caramel.

Tastes like the nose. Very malty and sweet with excellent flavor and balance.

Mouthfeel - very full bodied and creamy

Overall - An exceptional winter warmer. Definetily a good creation by Sam Adams and highly recommend and will revisit next winter.
