Poured from the bottle. Leaves a faint brown head with lots of lacing bubbles, color of beer is simply brownish/black not syrupy.
Bouquet transmits a malty cocoa nose that is reminiscent of powdered Quick instant Chocolate, with some creamy hints. Very good bouquet.
Taste though and mouthfeel doesn't translate into the enjoyment that is on the bouquet as much. There is very little flavor on the palate and it's a bit wet in mouthfeel and body. The aftertaste leaves a very weak tobacco note almost as if from cigarette smoke.
Great looking and smelling beer not as exciting to taste, but EASILY drinkable.
