This beer realy turned me on to Stouts. This is an unusual sweet stout. Most sweet stouts kill me. They are too sweet that I can't enjoy it. But this one is not the norm. It's so balanced with the chocolate and coffee notes.

It pours a beautiful thick black, that gives a thick creamy dark tan head that stays around until the fat lady sings.

The aroma has both coffe and chocolate notes which I love. I hate it when it's too chocolaty. The coffee malts really bring balance.

The flavor is the same as above. Not too sweet with a nice soft lingering bitterness.

Medium to full bodied. Very smooth.Very very smooth.

Very drinkable. A nice rendition of the style.
