Presentation: Pint. On tap at the Samuel Adams Brewhouse, Boylston St., Boston, MA. Some of the freshest SA you'll ever get!

Appearance: Reddish amber, with a nitro Guinness draft style head which left its trail all the way down the pint. Great retention.

Smell: Very clean and crisp. It was difficult to pick out any specific aromas due to the pub atmosphere and that it had no distinct smell.

Taste: Extremely creamy and smooth with a thinish light malt body. A pronounced lager taste (due to the specific hops used), with a thin ever-so-slight-lemony finish. Hints of caramel and hops linger out a while.

Notes: This was a great beer on tap, and tap it will stay. At the time of this review, it is only available in 12 hand-picked Boston locations. It will roll-out in kegs, nationwide, at an unknown date. In the meantime ... if you are in the Boston area we highly suggest that you try it, even though it is really a Bitter.
