Got a six pack for my wife cause this is like the only beer in the world she likes, but its been sitting in my fridge for over a week so I'm going to crack it open for a review.
A: Pale yellow slightly hazy lemonade color with a white tiny bubble head that quickly dissipated to a small ring around the top.
S: A muted lemony wheat smell with nothing else going on, oh wait really smelling the wheat in it as it warms up.
T: Starts out really smooth and easy going like a basic American wheat and then I'm hit with a lemon citric kick and finishes with a lemon peel bitter drying finish. As the beer warms the wheat malts start coming through more and more which is good cause its making this beer two dimensional instead of one.
M: Is what I would call having a medium mouthfeel with an abundant amount of carbonation. Maybe too full for style.
D: This is what this beer is made for drinking in abundance. Nothing stands out as great, but nothing stands out as bad either just beer you don't have to think about.
Sam Summer Ale is an easy drinking, no frills kinda beer that appeals to the masses. I find this beer to be really non offensive but at the same time there is nothing to keep me interest in it at all. With that said I'll be reaching for something else this summer.

Pours hazy golden with minimal head. Aroma of grain , bread, with a slight lemony nose. Taste is very hefeweizen (bready) without the banana and bubblegum notes and other sweet accents. Finish is chalky dry and abrupt, not much of an aftertaste to remember. So-so, not impressed.

Had it out of a bottle in a make your own 6 pack at my local grocery store
Can smell the lemon peel right off the bat as it is very strong to the nose, a little hint of the wheat as well but the lemon really over powers the nose.
Taste is smooth no bitter, no real after taste and a very drinkable beer. This to me is a great summer beer and I recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable summer beer to drink. It is not as light as a bud light coors light etc. but if your looking for a lighter beer with some flavor then this is the beer for you
