Appearance - poured from a bottle into a Duvel tulip glass. 2 finger off white head died off very quickly. Color is an enticing red/orange, just how you would picture a fall leaf.
Smell - no particular smell really pops out at me. Smell alcohol, some earthy smells. Grass, dirt...haha.
Taste - really not that impressed. I enjoyed Great Lakes and Yuenglings offerings far better.
Mouthfeel - a bit watery.
Overall - a pretty average Sam Adams offering as well as a pretty average Octoberfest offering.
