Stopped by 4/3/14 while my wife was having a nap, just a couple blocks from out hotel. Dozen+ taps but nothing really jumped out at me, Emerson Pil was a good pick though. Decent service if your standing at the bar, the place was dead and no one paid any attention to me sitting at a table with a menu beside me. Servers walk right by you but at many places in NZ you must go to the bar to order but its odd being ignored by servers coming from Canada. Covered patio, big area upstairs for private function, I didn't eat but I could smell lots of grease while I was sitting near the kitchen. Place didn't do much for me other then the delicious pint of Emerson. Everything was expensive but that's NZ for ya, over 10$ for a pint and the food menu looked overpriced for bar food. I didn't like the urinal, metal wall to piss against while standing on a grate with piss running under your feet and splashing back at you, odd. Pretty basic pub and for a place I saw advertised as a craft beer bar I'd expect more interesting taps.
Not a whole lot in the area, I'd head to the Brew Craft Beer Pub a short walk away instead.
