Our Wit beer is a delightful thirst-quenching rendition of the classic Belgian wheat ale brewed with orange peel, coriander, and a carefully sourced third spice. The aroma and flavors are a balance of bright fruits, spice, and wheat. It has a soft traditional haze and a light to medium body. A refreshing and flavorful ale.
Pair with: Lighter seafood dishes, mild or herb cheeses, and citrus desserts. This is the perfect brunch beer; try mixing it with orange juice as a delicious spin on a mimosa.

12 oz bottle poured into a plastic wine cup during happy hour at Horseshoe Bay Resort. Pale, nearly clear golden yellow with a modest head of white foam. Mild aroma of spicy grains. Flavor follows with a clean profile of wheat and sweeter malty notes, spicy yeast and some citrus zest. Light body and moderate carbonation. A pleasant poolside quencher.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Clear yellow color with a nice white head and lacing. Fruity smell and taste. Hint of spice. A bit thin on the feel. Fairly good.

Tasted poor and not otherwise spoiled. Would rather have blue moon over this. Your bona fides don't matter if your product is awful. Tastes like a weak pils mixed with tangerines that are far out of season and weak.

Straw golden hue, moderate lacing with a ring of head that settles quickly. Nice aromas of lemon zest, wheat, grassiness and bananas. Hints of bubblegum and melon. Taste is lemon zest foward with a big wheat profile, cloves and citrus in the back end. Moderately thin mouthfeel with low carbonation. Definitely a great summer drinker.

Golden color, cloudy with lacing, small foam head. Strong wheat, slight citrus flavor. Smooth finish and aftertaste. Really good wheat beer. I enjoyed this one.

Poured at 45°F from a 22oz bottle (no bottling date) into a Spiegelau wheat glass. Consumed on 27Jan16.
LOOK: Pours with 3 fingers worth of dense, white foam. At 3 minutes, the outer edges of the foam have dissipated into a fingers worth while the center of the foam has only dissipated by 1 finger. This results in a nice little plateau of foam with a large amount of very thick lacing left behind. The beer is honey orange in color with a high amount of cloudiness. There is a plethora of medium-sized rising bubbles. Lacing is high in quantity and both thick and very thick.
SMELL: Strong aromas of orange peel entangle with mild aromas of lemon zest, coriander, and wheat along with subtle salt, clove, and banana aromas.
TASTE: The initial taste is of mild orange peel, clove, and banana flavors. Mild flavors of coriander, salt, wheat, and lemon zest enter right after as orange peel flavors grow stronger. As all flavors merge into the final taste, wheat flavors grow slightly stronger.
FEEL: Medium-bodied and moderately carbonated. Goes down somewhat smooth. Finishes very crisp.
NOTE: This was incredibly balanced between all of the flavors. Nothing dominated, yet all of the flavors had their little shine in the spotlight. This is personally the best Witbier I have ever had. Once again, Save the World makes another great beer. I highly recommend.
