The colour is golden (6 EBC), the liquid is clear. The finger thick head sinks down to a thin white lid. No lacing.
The smell is dry and hoppy. Lemons, grapefruits and orange peels. Some earthy notes, and a hint of toffee.
The taste is light, dry and fresh. Citric fruits, growing clean bitterness. Light to medium body. Growing sweetness in the aftertaste with a unexpected hint of chocolate that makes me think of Tootsie Rolls. French loaf and bitter herbs in the finish.
The carbonation is medium to strong, the small bubbles long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
A very drinkable session IPA. I do miss some hop character, though.
