This is my go-to to get craft beer considering its a stone throw from my house. There selection is getting more and more diverse. I was surprised I saw a lot of Great Divide and even some from The Bruery. But they do have a great selection, especially if you want some 3 Floyds they are a guarantee to have some: cold or warm.

Cheers

I have stopped here a few times – both on my way up to Traverse City for vacation, and on my way to Three Floyds. The atmosphere is what you’d expect for a smaller family run liquor store. The quality of the store needs a bit of improvement. It is a bit rundown inside and is hot as hell which is not reassuring. The service for the times I have been there was relatively good. They had just got some Blushing Monk in a while back and let me know about it (it was behind the counter) and let me know of other random oddities. The selection is a hell of a lot better than the Discount Liquors a few minutes away, though over the past few years I have stopped in, they definitely do not have as much “rare” stuff that they used to have (I may attribute this in part to the fact that many more people are into craft beer now and pick up all the “rare” stuff that would have stayed on the shelves a few years ago). While the selection is good, the most disturbing thing was I saw year old Arctic Panzer Wolf on their shelves – the graphic of the Viking woman (not the wolf). This is disturbing for two reasons: first of all, it is a year old DIPA they are still trying to sell for $11 dollars; second of all, they are located less than ten minutes from Three Floyds and they are trying to pull this stunt. Sad. The value was good, though a hint pricier than stores I am accustomed to frequenting in Illinois. Overall I will still probably stop here if I am in town (though I admit I didn’t go here yesterday when I went to pick up some Zombie Dust), but this store can use some improvement.

This is a decent little shop-- lightyears ahead of either Delocke's Discount Liquor stores... At least, that's what I would have said last year.... There used be a never-ending supply of the best of the Smokestack beers from Boulevard... Now those have all dried up-- you can't find Saison Brett, BBQ, or Rye on Rye any longer and it makes me a sad panda.

Otherwise, the selection is about the same as the Delocke's in Munster only it is smaller here. The store is also very warm inside, well above normal room temp, which I see as a negative.
The employees don't seem to care about beer too much except that it is an item they sell for profit. If asked "do have any (insert limited beer name here)?" the reply is almost always a generic, "it's all gone but we should get more next week..." It never comes though of course.

If you're coming from out of state, it isn't a bad store to hit up, but don't expect too many gems. The proximity to FFF (about 10 min away) is the best feature of this store.
Please don't get me wrong here, this isn't a terrible place to stop, but it is far from the best in the area.

Stopped by here while in town for Dark Lord Day. They had a decent selection including bottles from Three Floyds (that were guaranteed fresh), Upland (including a couple Lambics by the register), Crooked Tree, etc. Be sure to check the case by the counter for some rarer offerings, I picked up a Hair of the Dog Adam and there were some Upland Lambics in there too. This was one of the more productive beers stops while in town as I was able to get most of the three floyds stuff I was looking before Dark Lord Day. Definitely worth the short drive if you are visiting Three Floyds.

This was just one of our beer runs while in the area for Dark Lord Day '11. It is a medium size store just down the street from 3 Floyd's and it had a decent selection of locals (particularly Three Floyds, Chicago locals, Flossmoor, etc...). Had questions about how fresh some of the 3F selections and were quickly informed that the beers were extremely fresh (delivered in 3-4 days of our arrival). The owner and his wife were very helpful and friendly. Not the largest selection that we saw in the area but a solid one at that, with exceptional service!

We stopped by this store on our way up to Chicago. It was a pleasant surprise. It doesn't look like much from the outside but their selection was very good and pretty inexpensive. They had FFF bombers for only $9.99 and a wide array of six packs and bombers. They also had a moderate amount of craft bombers in the cooler windows as well as in a small sliding door cooler. Their prices were around 50 cents cheaper than most other places, at least in Indy. The one thing I noticed was that they had a single bottle of Upland's Peach Lambic behind glass for $35. Are you kidding me? The most I've seen it for otherwise was $23. That's an insane markup! Otherwise, this store is a decent stop and probably has the best selection in the area.

Probably the most visited beer store in Indy due to its proximity to Three Floyds, I had the opportunity to stop one late afternoon. Many Three Floyds offerings were there which was a plus, but it seemed there were quite a few beers from smaller breweries missing.... something I always look for in traveling. This also effected their singles selection, as those beers were not there in the first place. Prices were reasonable and the quality of the beers were consistent with a good beer store if not a little better. I will stop here again if in the area, but it seems I can get a more broad selection elsewhere in Chicago or Indy.

This place has beer from Three Floyds that Three Floyds doesn't even have. Just picked up a bottle of Brian Boru on my way home after hoping to sample it at Three Floyds last weekend but was dissapointed they no longer carried it. I'm kind of new to this whole beer tasting thing seeing how i'm only 22 but i can see this place being my Disneyland based on how pathetic other liquor stores in the area are. So in closing if you like good beer then i totally reccomend this place. It makes it even better that I can get a good steak right next door at Texas Corral

Definitely the best craft beer liquor store in nwi. As soon as you walk in, there is an entire aisle dedicated solely to craft beers. They also have some bombers cold in the back cooler. Every new Three Floyd's brew will be here for sure, as well as Stone, Bells, Founders, etc. The staff is knowledgeable and seem to enjoy what they do. The Indian dude will help with any tough decisions, especially if you know what style you like, and he knows the newer bottles that they might not have had the last time you were there. The bottles all look new and have yet to come across any dust on a bottle. If you're looking for a quality craft beer store in NWI, look no further. Also, it is conveniently located on route 41, dangerously close to the Three Floyd's Brewpub, might as well stop in to both. Ha. Cheers!

By far the best craft beer selection in northwest indiana and most of the chicago southland area. The next closest liquor store that even comes close to their selection of craft beers is binny's in orland park. Everyone working there is very helpful and knows a suprising amount about craft beers. Even get limited productions like hopslam and KBC. Prices are average, compare to any other bigger store such as binnys. If you get there when the older indian dude is working you can talk to him about what things he can special order for you.
