A cool-looking and rather old school bottle pours into a tulip glass bright yellow with a lively head.
This is a pretty boilerplate tripel all around but still fresh and very nicely brewed. A mild, spicy aroma betraying only a few bits of its elevated ABV, the flavor a welcoming combination of sweet cereal, muted fruit, and peppery yeast.

L- Mid amber, pours (with care) almost fully clear, with 3mm white head.
S- I register something though it's quite mild, esp. for an 8.5% Belgian/Tripel, I can't ID any specific elements of it, which is unusual.
T- Bright, multi-faceted taste, with elements all jostling on/off/on/off the palate. There is a deep/pungent deep roasted fruit aspect to this, or the heavy/fruity pungency of a Brit Xmas pudding. The 8% also comes through loud and clear.
M- It has a great balance between bright/deep/pungent/hoppy.
O- Very accomplished, no wonder this has won some serious Belgian beer awards. I could happily drink this all winter through.
330ml bottle BB: June-2021. Bought from BeersOfEurope (UK).

Pours a hazy orange color with a nice medium top of white head that dissolves rapidly. The aroma is of yeast, light malts, slight caramel, peaches and red apples and floral hops. Very typical aroma for a triple. The taste is sweet and fruity with a slight malty feel in the back and some nice notes of spices and herbs. The finish is dry and slightly bitter with a spicy touch. The alcohol is well hidden in the flavour and the aftertaste has a good length. Medium carbonation with a medium body. with a clean and soft mouthfeel. This was absolutely an enjoyable and surprising triple. Would definitely have it again.

Poured into snifter. Thin head ring. No lace..
Nose is whiskey and light citrusy fruit, creamy malt.
Pears, peaches, limes, grape sour like lambrusco amabile on the finish.
Smooth but tart mouth. Medium dryness.
Nice fruity tripel. Very good Belgian craftsmanship.

Served at cellar temperature into Westmalle Chalice.
Pours a lovely clear amber, medium carbonation. Lovely initial head, which does fall to a slither.
Aroma is like a light peaty single malt whiskey, with a fizz of hops. Certainly has me intrigued what the taste will be.
Bang, that is a bitter first sip, but full of flavour, a real warming malt, not quite like any tripel I have had before.
Feel is a fraction on the artificial sweetness side, which is unusual given the relatively mild 8% abv
Overall, a very solid brew, one of the most well rounded I have tried, recommended.

Sampled from a 0.33l bottle (€4.40) at Gollem in Antwerp on 21SEP17.
Poured into a chalice, it was a clear, bright, medium-golden hue. Had plentiful, aggressive carbo and a creamy, 1/2" off-white head. The topping lasted well, with good lace left behind. Had a mild nose, with a mix of fruitiness and spices. Body was medium, and it was light and airy on the tongue, with some prickle.
Tasted a touch bready, with pale fruit (pear, green apple) present. Had a light honeyish sweetness with hints of candi sugar. The finish was dry and presented some yeasty, spicy qualities. A solid Tripel! Prosit!

A nice, complex tripel; floral aromatics with lots of flavors to unpack. Not too spritzy in the mouth. It went well with a sandwich. Will have again.
