Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Bottle conditioned, beyond golden into almost bright pale orange, poured with minor haze (some sludge left in bottle). 3Cm fat/pillowy off-white head. ps @+10minds, holds well.
S- Belgian yeast notes, aromatic+timber here, a sense of dryness too.
T- Good grief, well all of that^ and in spades. It is notably dry, really, leaving a big broad brush of pungent zinging hops across my palate. It's one of those beers that has such pungent hopping that it immediately gives me hiccups, weird but exactly the same has happened a couple of times before!
F- I can sense some robustness but it's the hops that are the main feature here. At least they're of a more trad kind and not a bonkers fruit cocktail of them.
O- To me the seriously dry hopping over-dominates. It's hard to find much detail here as I for me it seems rather smothered. I can finish it but the hops are way OTT for me and I shan't be buying more of this.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ==> Bottle conditioned. Ingredients are limited to the historic four only (=thumbs up)
330ml bottle BB: 21/08/2022. Euro2.60 Bought from BeerMania/Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London. - #1873

L: gives of a cloudy deep orange color . A very good high top of head when i pour in the glass. A lot of lacings on the glass. very bubbly . A good look on this beer
S: A very fruity aroma, citrus fruits, yeast, floral hops, light malts , some hints of spices
T&F: The first that i notice is the creamy feel, the flavour is much as in the aroma, malts, citrus fruits, spices and floral hops . gives a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste that last for a long time. I think this beer had a good balance. comfortable on the tongue, gives a little prickling there.
O: A delicious beer that was very drinkable. I would sure buy it again if i got the chance. Enjoyable

06/19/13 From bottle at Rattle N Hum, NYC. Super dry; to the point of requiring a chaser. This is by no means, IMHO, a bad thing. Just imagine what alchemy was performed to change this water to the anomaly before me. A slightly viscose liquid that defies physics. The sweet/bitter balance hit all the right notes. I'm just waiting for the hammer to fall. Rated at 6.5% ABV, I have a feeling this will be as deceptive as it is quixotic, physics-wise.

A: Pale golden color. Massive crystal white, very compact head. Nice lacings and crater.
S: Yeast and mild spices. Malty and sour. Bitter hops and loaded with citric notes.
T: Sour, yeasty and spicy – just like a Belgian Blond should be. Green apples and lots of lemons. Malty.
M: Long sour and bitter aftertaste. The body is a bit harsh and rather light considering the ABV. Low carbonation.
O: A nice and well balanced beer.
