Pour with care, there is some sludge in the bottle.
L- Mid-chestnut, moderately hazy, pours with 1cm off-white head.
S- Toasty with a slight apple-sourness to it.
T- In a blind-tasting I could be persuaded this was a shandy made from 1/2 Belgian ale, and 1/2 cider; there is a distinct fruity edge to it.
F- Lively carbonation, refreshingly dry whilst clearly having some gutsy oomph behind it.
O- This is the second organic beer I've had this evening. I'm starting to wonder if such beers routinely cost more yet offer less finesse. Underwhelming, not one I'd buy again.

Russet with clinging off-white head.
Toasted granola, autumn leaf, peach and wax on the nose.
Cherry, brown sugar, salted caramel, and dark crispbread with a weak cinnamon end.
Carob finish and cherry cough drop linger.
Creamy, light to medium, dry.
Tart, simple amber. Some roundness to an otherwise thin body, but no dark fruit or roast and the hops are missing where they would help. Flaccid overall.
