Pours a hazy yellow with a creamy two finger head. retension of the head seems to be quite good. smells very "Belgium", some corriander and some other floral smells. The first taste I get is apple. Some strong foral flavors and a suprisingly bitter finish, not too bitter but not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit of a metalic flavor to it. good carbonation. smooth to drink which makes it go down quite nicely. Yet another good beer from Belgium.

Bottle pour at the BevMo Holiday Beerfest held at Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, spices, fruit, and yeast. Taste is much the same with a mild spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but I think it smells better than it tastes.

[Suggested Glassware: Tulip Glass]
The pour was a murky gold with a light brown hue and a small (1 finger or less) white fizzy head that diminished rapidly down to a thin film with a small collar, which did create some fair runny lacing.
The aroma was of a light grain malt and a musty doughy yeast with notes of apple, pears, banana and a hint of spice.
The taste was very malty with a nice fruity ester from the beginning, and then progressed with a strong yeast presence and a mild spicy bitterness towards the end. The flavor lingered for an average amount of time after the swallow, with a mild alcohol warming sensation at the very end.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a ticklish carbonation.
Overall this was a somewhat light Strong Ale both in body and in flavor, although it does offer an exceptionally smooth drinkability...

A - Kind of an icky pour with sediment bits throughout but carbonation is better than expected flowing out of the bottle and the cap was pulled. Head is a 1/4 inch of sticky head that sticks around forever.
S - Aroma has a nice bit of hops along side of some blonde like grains and just a touch of sweet yeasts.
T - Agree with others it does have a pineapple like sweetness that seems to have a touch of caramel malt. Yeasts are fruity delivering also a mild bit of zest and a touch of hops. Quite an interesting Blonde indeed.
M - Light to medium easy to drink despite the ABV.
Overall I might have to look for a 750ml (bomber) or a fresher bottle but it's good the way I got it.
