250ml bottle poured into a pils glass.
A:
The texture is clear with a purple tinge and half-finger of pinkish head that stands for a while before sinking to some foamy film and sheet atop along with some lace. The visible carbonation is actively high.
S:
Blueberry and raspberry pie, medicinal spice and biscuity malt.
T:
Fruitiness and sweetness with a note of blueberry and raspberry predominate but not too overwhelming. Biscuity malt partakes in the middle and lingers to the end with some sweet residual. Subtle hop bitterness is at the tail of the overall flavor structure.
M:
The body is light with rather smooth mouth feel from its lively crispness and carbonation, rather dry in the finish.
O:
Not too much fruity and sweet unlike the other fruit beers because there are some characters of the Pilsener as leverage, it is not the best in style by far but still drinkable and worthy.

This is one of the first Belgian fruit beers that I had 7 years ago but that was before I reviewed anything so when I found it again recently, I had to buy it, even if it was not the best beer ever.
The beer poured a vibrant red body with a thick fluffy pink head. So fluffy it looked like a milk shake. The nose was a nice bouquet of fresh fruit, blueberry, raspberry and some citrus. The taste was sweet and fruity but had a slight bitterness on the tongue. This is a solid but not wonderful beer.

Im very curious about this beer. Today its the 20th of June 2005 and the sun is shining bright. Its about 28° C, so I thought to leave the heavy beers aside and try the low ABV fruit beers.
I pours out like a kriek, hardly no head. It has a deep purple-red colour. The head was purple-pink. I served it in a chalice.
It just smells like a regular blackberry lemonade.
The taste is very timid, but with too much carbonation: its not in balance with the taste. Some sweetness, no malt, just fruit with a very small note of hop in the back of the mouth.
Not a great beer, but a superb refreshing beer to drink on hot summer days!

What to think of a beer with blackberries? Sounds good but how's the drinkability and most important how does it taste. Well first the appearance after pooring the brew in is good. Nice purple colour that reminds you you have a fruit beer. Smell is that of blackberries, litle sour but not much else to smell. But ok its something different and the nose is fine however it smells litle like some sodapop. Taste is less impressive. Not much to taste at all except blackberries and sweetness. No malt to be tasted and only in the end a litle bitterness to be detected. Drinkabilty looked quiet ok( though I would not go for it again) but after a while a got a hospital taste in my mouth. Not my fruit beer.
