an oddity for certain. i dont even think this is a wheat beer, if it is its really weak on the malt. i think its just the regular sarajevsko before the final filtration process. totally strange. pours a nice looking hazy straw color with a 2 inch fluffy white head that stick around. smells lemony, yeasty, and a little skunky. flavor is definitely yeast prominent, like a slightly doughy sarajevso regular. theres also a distinct tart citrus flavor in there, but not sure the origin. its an easy drinking beer and a bit of a curiosity. good enough mouthfeel, well carbonated and a lighter medium body. im not wild about it, but its definitely something different. i think its only available at the brewery, which fortunately enough is right across the river from my apartment...

Served on tap into a mug on site at the Sarajevo Brewery.

A: A slightly cloudy pale yellow color topped with a 1.5 finger pure white head with great retention.

S: Slightly citrusy with a touch of piney hop, but more malty. A bit of butter and a light sourdough bread note.

T: Light and crisp with a touch of fruit and honey. Finishes with a fresh touch of lemon and some balancing bready malt.

A nice alternative to the other light beers on offer here in the region. Big step up from the filtered version. Very drinkable and refreshing.

Sampled in the brewery's beerhall, it comes out a cloudy watery yellow under a 1/4 finger white head that fades quickly, leaving no lace. The nose is mild of grain, with a hint of banana. The mouth is light and very prickly. The opening is quite watery - the malt is not well developed, with just a touch of grain. Hoppy bitterness is dominant, but hardly strong. It is also surprisingly smooth and non-metallic, tending towards a coriander dry bitter with a hint of pine. The aftertaste is crisp, but fades quickly. This is a good entry beer, or an option for those looking to guzzle.
