I have been here a few times and never left disappointed. The food is great pub food with some nice, unique menu items mixed in. They do a good job of integrating beer into their food, especially the barbecue foods. As far as beer selection goes, they'll have anything Victory but nothing else, which is to be expected. If they still have it, try the Golden Monkey ice cream. It's easily the best ice cream I've ever had. Victory also has some of the best pizza outside of the NYC metro area. It's a must visit if you're a fan of beer or brew pubs.

Visited Victory on a beautiful June day. I went there along with my homebrew club. We had scheduled ahead of time a "brewers tour". We paid for this tour and we were very excited because earlier in the week they had announced no more tours. We showed up like a bunch of little kids on Christmas only to be met by ole Grinchy himself. From the moment we were "greeted" by the staff we were treated like trash. Our club has had many great experiences with breweries, brewpubs, and bars none like this one.
On our "brewers tour" our tour guide knew nothing of brewing and admittedly told us so. So much for getting what you pay for. I was hoping to gain some knowledge of the brewing process but was told bad information. When a plate of hops was passed around I asked what kind they were. The tour guides response "I don't know probably something they just swept off the floor".
After getting our samples on the tour, which happened to be the 3 most popular beers, we headed into the bar/restaurant area for lunch. We were given 1 server for our 30 or so people and only about 20 chairs. We were denied service at the bar because we had a server and were part of our group. At this point in the day the MANAGEMENT had sufficiently treated us like trash and the server apologized for it. I have never in any eatery had a waiter apologize for their boss.
Our day ended when one of our group was kicked out. The manager ripped a glass out of his hand with such force that a good portion of it spilled on the floor. She then screamed at him to leave. She said he was "visibly intoxicated". He was far from intoxicated and he left. There was at least 5 people that were visibly intoxicated standing with 15 feet of him when he was told to leave. When our club president asked for an explanation none was given.
Victory has really lost touch of what is important. The customer. The only thing that is of any importance to them is your money. They don't care about good beers, good times, or good food. Just to get your money. There is plenty of other breweries and brewpubs in the area that care about the customer that visiting Victory is not worth your time.
I will never buy or suggest their beer to anyone ever again. I have never in my life been treated with such disdain and disrespect. Which is quite incredible since I work with juvenile delinquents.

While on vacation in the area our group of four decided to visit Victory for lunch and to taste some of their beers. Convenient parking always a plus and as we walked in everything was clean and we were greeted right away and shown a table.
We ordered lunch and a flight of four or five beers, about six oz. apiece. They had about 20 beers to choose from. Flights were quickly brought out. Lunch was very good as well as the beers. I don't remember the bill but I remember it to be reasonable.
Would revisit if in the area again.

Went there about a Month ago and was a great time! They had amazing selection of beer and some new ones ive never had before. Service was very friendly and didn't have to wait to get seated at all! Also food was excellent! Hope to go again soon! One thing I will tell you is that the place is somewhat hidden in an alley unless I went a different way then usual!

One of my favorite breweries around. Great food and an even better selection of brews on tap. For a brewery, the quality of the food is amazing, which is why it's such a good draw for me. Some of their scratch beers are amazing as well. Try the Ranch R Double IPA if it's in, amazing stuff, it's definitely better than the 90 score it has received on here.

I made my pilgrimage to Downington after visiting my girlfriend in Collegeville. I had to make the trip complete, a babe and some good beer. If you haven't been to Victory's Brewery and restaurant, I would certainly suggest that you make the trip.
I got there about 40 mins. before the restaurant opened, so I waited. The bar was clean and dimly lit. It was 3:00 in the afternoon, so I think my experience may be a bit skewed. I only had a Mad King's Weiss on tap, but the bartender did let me buy a case and a growler, something that you're not supposed to do in PA, I guess. Anyway, The beer was good. The restaurant wasn't overly crowded, although the crowd was pretty dense for 3 pm on a Monday. Great ambiance, and a wood-burning brick oven. What could be better?

Ok, I'm new to this site and am just learning my way around so perhaps this is in bad form, but I was pretty shocked to see all the wonderful reviews of Victory (foodwise at least, the beers are great). I am new to the area, lived in WC for about a year, so I can't compare the new Victory to the old, but I've been going there at least once, if not twice a month since I moved here. When I first started going the food was hit or miss, now it seems like it's just miss. It's gotten to the point where I try to find the most classic, hard to mess up, dish on the menu.
It's not that the food is that terrible, it's just so stunningly average Applebeees/TGIF quality. It's really disappointing when paired with such excellent beer. The menu itself looks great and has a lot of potential, bison barbeque, crab and poblano pizza, jerk chcken grinders, trice fries, etc... but the execution is so dull and bland. Please Victory, get new executive chef in there who can bring the food quality closer to your outstanding beers!
I'll probably never stop going there as the beers are fantastic and I'll always have a soft spot for it as my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner there, but soon I'll just go for a beer or two before eating somewhere else if the quality doesn't improve.
Overall- the beer is great, the atmosphere ok, a little sterile for me, but it's not bad, and the food is not very good.

Obviously, this place has a lot of hype that comes with the name. I was really excited to be able to visit, and so I had high expectations.
The building is really nice! Very clean, and well-maintained. It's a very very large brew pub, with a bar that can sit a LOT of people.
Me and my friends sat down at a table near the bar area, and ordered our appetizers. I got an order of hot wings. They were out very fast, and they were particularly good.
I got a Prima Pils Draft. Excellent when it's fresh from the source.
For my actual meal I got BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich with fries and cole slaw. All were good, but I couldn't finish it (the appetizer was a meal in itself!)
Next, beer sampling! Tried Donnybrook Stout, Hop Wallop, HopDevil, Uncle Teddy's Bitter, Festbier, CBC Tradition, and Whirlwind. Out of those my favorite was the Uncle Teddy's!
I came, I ate, I drank, and I went home happy. This place didn't just meet my high expectations, but it SURPASSED them. I was very impressed. Over 20 beers on tap, a good food menu, and good service. Victory is definitely deserving of all the hype.

The atmosphere here is great and they have a pretty nice selection of beers. The food was pretty good too, I got a burger and onion rings both of which were great! I did not get to tour the brewery but I am planning on going back soon and taking advantage of that.
They offer decent size samples for about a $1.50 which I thought was great.
They have a nice gift shop with glassware and cases/6 packs you can buy. Its a little small but there is a decent selection of apparel and other beer related items. Pretty average value when compared with other similar places.

Amazing place, went for dark intrigue day, and had an absolutely amazing time. Very clean and nice food area, very nice bar with excellent selection, and the growler fillers were excellent. I went through the main bar and restaurant on my way to the retail store. Everyone there was really nice and helpful, and never hesitated in answering a question, even if we were asking them for the third time. I did not end up getting the dark intrigue (i didn't know it would be distributed once we found out we got out of line and decided to wait for it) Amazing beer, Amazing people.
