12 oz bottle a little above fridge temp poured into a snifter. No freshness info.
Pours a light golden color with a slit haze. Big frothy 2 fingers of white head. Good head retention and good lacing.
Peppery spice, clove, lemon peel, spicey Belgian yeast, a very aromatic beer.
A big peppercorn flavor, big clove flavor, which I really enjoy, combines with the spicey phenols from the Belgian yeast, some lemon citrus peel a slight hint of hops and cereal grain towards the back.
Light and refreshingly crisp carbonation. Some hop bitterness does linger in the finish. Drinkable, but the big spice flavors might get a little old after a while.
A really good beer, I like a big spice profile from time to time and this fit the bill, but at the same time it is really there and i can see why many dont like this. A nice summer beer that many types of people can enjoy. Although, stylistically, more of a Belgian pale than a Saison, but whateves.

L: Pours hazy gold under a sudsy white 1” foam collar that provides good lace. S: The aromas are spicy and fruity with over ripe fruit and banana and a lightly smoky phenolic odor hiding in the background. T: Fruity spice, orange, citrus, coriander, over ripe fruit, some pepper, and an assertive bitter finish. F: Medium high carbonation and medium body. O: A refreshing saison with a little something odd going on.

Aroma is yeast, lemons, citrus, spices and a slightly out of place mustiness. The flavor is lemons, citrus, spices, thick/sticky and a tart/tangy finish.

Not my cupo tea. It was overly floral and perfume like. Way to much in the way of herbs and flowers
