First had: on tap at Victory
Honestly, with smaller craft breweries like Tired Hands making distinct and tremendously unique saisons and using unique yeast strains, I'm often skeptical when the big boys attempt the style. This one was definitely good though, and very nice fresh on tap at the source.
Pale yellowish pour, slightly hazy, with a finger or so of frothy white head; nice retention and lacing. Aroma was flowery, spicy, citrusy. Not much of that signature barnyard funk in the nose or the taste, but this was still nice. Taste was flowery like a fresh German or Belgian wheat beer, toasted grains, light orange blossom, soft herbal spices. Medium body, soft, and with the low ABV, the drinkability was just that much more pleasant.

On tap at the brewery
A-darker shade of gold with a frothy white head and a lot of bubbles
S-lemony herbal spices similar to a witbier. Medium strength. Smells good.
T-comes in not tasting like a witbier. Definitely has the lemony spices, but more grainy like what a table Saison should be. It's a very light flavor. Crisp and tasty with a matching after-taste
M-medium creamy carbonation with a crisp finish
O-a light beer with some decent flavor. I could definitely and willingly drink a lot of this. I was glad it came in a huge glass. Nearly bomber sized. Makes me think that table Saisons should be there own category because it doesn't stand anywhere near a good Saison.

Pours a pale yellow with a decent head at pour. Nice lacing left on the glass. Aroma is typical Saison with fresh spices clearly present. Taste is light with spices - Rosemarie, thyme, celery - and a subtle citrus flavor - maybe some lemon or lime. Great sessionable Saison - cramming lots of flavor into this low ABV brew.
