A: Poured from the growler into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is clear orangey-amber with only a small whitish film on top.
S: Nice hoppy scents - citrusy grapefruit, tropical fruit and pine.
T: Foundation of caramel malt, then hops - grapefruit, grapefruit peel, pine resin and some earthiness. Finishes with lingering pine resiny bitterness.
M: Medium-to-full bodied. Carbonation is nearly non-existent, making it feel somewhat thick.
O: Solid and a relatively easy-drinking DIPA.

On tap @ the VBC. Copper with a rich bright-white head. Sudsy retention with rich sticky lacing. Smells fresh and herbal with some floral and pine accents mixed in as well. Underneath, bitter grapefruit mingles with some lighter tropical flavors while a sweet graininess sits along the back. Alcohol adds some beef in the nose. The taste is herbal and tropical, which melds with the sweet grains of the malt. An aggressive streak of green bitterness and resins stretch down the middle of the profile and into the finish. The feel is medium to fuller with some sharpness on tongue and then more of a slick creaminess underneath. Some alcohol warmth is present but it mostly serves to elevate the strength of the hops. This is solid DIPA with a good balance of flavors that I would expect for the style and a relatively accessible body for 9%. Worth a look.

Served in a Palm snifter at the Local Miami.
A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/4 beige head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and plentiful surface foam. Crystally, resilient lacing slowly slides down the glass.
S- Dank, musty hop aroma with some sweet-smelling malt backing it up well. Pungent, with a small amount of alcohol fume given the ABV.
T- Herbal, grassy hop flavor with a moderate-heavy bitterness and a decent malt backbone. Traces of wood, particularly cedar, are a surprise but certainly welcome. Definitely an earthy IPA.
M- Sharp, slightly bitey. Medium carbonation and a body that's a bit on the full side.
O- A fantastic IPA that I'm glad I got the chance to try since, apparently, it's a bit rare.

On tap at the brewery
A-light amber with a sticky light cream colored head
S-actually just a clean and wonderful scent of hops with a touch of vanilla. Good strength
T-comes in with a great bitter flavor of hops, vanilla, and clementine. Ooo the bitterness reall sticks to the tongue in a happy way. After-taste is similar with more citrus. Bitterness lasts awhile.
M-medium creamy carbonation with a dry finish
O-this is an awesome DIPA. The flavors and the bitterness are all there and are of high quality. I wish they'd bottle this because it's something I'd recommend everyone to try!.

On tap at Kickbacks in Jax. Poured into a snifter. White head, moderate retention on a clear copper body. Clear, oily lacing. Aroma dominated by resinous hop juiciness obviously. Grapefruit and grass with a touch of cat urine. Taste is tongue coating and biting bitterness. Nice, easy finish considering the high abv. Overall, quite saitisfying, easy to drink and tasty.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden-copper color with a nice one finger just off white head. The head fades over a moderate amount of time to leave a good level of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a bread, tropical fruits of mango and papaya and some citrus hop aromas of tangerine and grapefruit. Mixed with these smells are notes of caramel sweetness and a hint of a pine hop aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready taste and a moderately strong dose of tangerine, mango and some peach. These flavors are a base for which hop flavors come and go upon. In the start there is a sweeter citrus hop flavor of a more tangerine, orange and grapefruit nature. As the taste advances to the middle this citrus hop flavor grows stronger and hits it apex. When this occurs, a pine and light floral hop flavor come to the tongue. These flavors grow stronger at the expense of the citrus hop, but they never quite overpower it. In the end, as a very light alcohol flavor creeps onto the tongue, a smoother and moderately hopped flavor (with the hop being a nice blend of citrus, pine and floral) is left to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is average to just above average in its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that was very average. Not bad for the style and in keeping with its drinkability. The thicker body was nice for the hop flavors and smoothness while the slightly higher carbonation suited the sweeter fruit flavors nicely as well as made this 9% brew quite easy to drink.
Overall-A pretty smooth and easy drinking double IPA. None of the flavors are too potent and all of them meld together quite well.

Victory Ranch DIPA
The standard ranch beer from victory, other variations exist as well.
Pours a perfectly crystal clear gold. Aroma of piney, resinous hops. In the taste, mild grapefruit and pine notes. Muted tropical fruit with faint pineapple juice. Some sweet pale malts and a pronounced bitterness. No hint of alcohol. Medium body and moderately carbonated. Overall this is a top notch IpA , a blend of independently grown hops that really make the ranch series. Solid just like all victory products.

Enjoyed this Imperial IPA on a spontaneous Friday night and greatly enjoy it. High alcohol content did not overwhelm the hoppiness and the aroma was very clean. Clarity was not as good as I thought it could be but smooth none the less. Overall a great beer but definitely a heavy hitter. Will enjoy again if given the chance.

Had a growler filled at Consumers in Orchard Park.Poured a brilliant copper witha sticky cloud-like slightly off white head,a full ring of lace behind was left behind.Intense sticky hops in the nosse, alot of tropical fruit mixed in with pine resin, sweet alcohol a big caramel malt as well.A burst of fruity hops at first sip with the hop flavor profile more fruity and floral than bitter, sweet stinging alcohol stnds up well to the hops, caramel sweetness is noticable.A big fruity hop attack,a great DIPA wich isn't to sweet.

64oz Growler
Filled this at Whole Foods in Glen Eagle, PA
Deschutes tulip
A: This pours out a deep orange color. Two fingers egg shell white head. Sticky lacing bits are left on the glass. Leaves some sheeting.
S: Really nice nose on this guy. Over ripe peach, mango, papaya. Juicy hops. Different then other Victory IPAs. Less malty.
T: Right on the tip of the tongue, really piney bitterness. This continues to the mid palate. Some malts are there, but it still leans more to the hop bomb. Dry bitter close. The ABV is hidden really well, but after a growler split between two people....I felt it a little bit.
M: Medium bodied. Nice round IPA flavors.

The standard that Victory has settled on vs the R, S, and C specific versions. The hops in this version are subject to change based on availability. Having tried this several times the hops are always fresh. Piney and sweet. Some sweet malt flavor - brown sugar - on the backend. Pours amber to orange in the glass with a good head and impressive lacing on the glass. Overall a great brew by Victory.
