Purchased a growler of this from Charleston Beer Exchange yesterday and I am excited to try this.
Emerges from the growler a clear, slightly amber hued golden color with a respectable amount of lacing and head retention.
Aroma is very nice. Noble type hops with a decent amount of cracker like, white bread maltiness. Smells like Germany, even though I am here in Myrtle Beach.
A great beer overall. Smooth, hoppy, pleasant, very enjoyable. Glad I got this growler.

On-tap at the Meridian Pint in DC:
I had wanted to try one of these for some time and given where I live, a virtual beer wasteland, we typically only get the usual Victory suspects, so when I saw this on tap, I did not hesitate.
The beer appeared a nice, crystal clear, golden yellow with a nice thick white head that was well retained with carbonation bubbles rising to the top of the glass.
The beer gave off a nice hop aroma, but not overly hoppy, but perhaps more than expected, as most pils are not so hop forward.
The beer had a very good taste, well balanced and extremely easy to drink.
The beer had a light feel to it and finished with a dry aftertaste. The beer had good carbonation. Overall, just another example why I think that Victory is the best craft brewer out there.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass. Purchased at the Victory Brewpub on 3/5/13. Victory lists this as the Braumeister Pils - Tettnang, a Keller Pils at 4.7% ABV.
Appearance: Pours a golden yellow with a thick white head. Ever so sightly cloudy with calm carbonation bubbles.
Smell: Spicy Euro hops. Somewhat grainy malt aroma. Grassy notes and wet dog aroma (but in a good way).
Taste: Clash/mix of German and Czech Pils styles. Bitter throughout the palate. More bready than the Braumeister Hallertau. Tastes very good!
Mouthfeel: Bone dry, despite the sweet bready malt notes in the flavor. Full body, but not heavy.
Overall: Another well crafted, draft only winner from Victory. I like and respect that, in addition to their regular ale lineup, Victory makes a number of different European style lagers. In fact, I took the family go on a four hour round trip adventure to the brewery just to sample some of these draft only Braumeister offerings.

On-tap at Stag's Head, New York, NY
A: The beer is crystal clear straw yellow in color and has a very slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that slowly died down, leaving only a thin collar around the edge of the glass.
S: There are light to moderate aromas of grassy hops in the nose.
T: like the smell, the taste has flavors of grassy hops along with hints of spicy hops towards the finish. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This isn't as balanced compared to the regular Prima Pils but is an interesting pilsner on its own.

On-tap, served in a pint glass
A clear copper color with a small off white cap. The head fades quickly and leaves no discernible lacing, just a thin collar around the edges. The nose is of grainy pilsner malt, lemongrass, some flowers, bread, and white pepper. This guy is extremely clean and simple. On the palate, there is a bit of sweetness up front before a floral, bitter, spicy wave from the tettnang. The finish is a touch peppery, but mainly a balance of sweetness and floral bitterness. Crisp and dry. Light body with low carbonation. Victory has again shown their mastery of German malts. This is a clean, simple beer with a solid punch of flavor. Nothing over the top, well within the style points.

On Tap at Resurrection Ale House.
Color is a bright yellow with some faint touches of gold within, it does not quite look as pale as some macros's, but looks pretty similar. A nice whisp of white bubbles grace the top for a few and leave no lace. Smell is fairly floral with the tettang taking center stage with a trace amount of pale malt running behind. Grassy notes in taste with some florals mixing in with some pilsner malts, pretty light all together, yet the tettnang manages to stick through for the whole 16oz's. Feel is light bodied with a crisp yet not bitey carb going for it. This is a nice pils. A bit brighter in flavor than Victory's other year round pils, yet that might be because this is a fresh ass keg. I could drink two pints of this before tiring of it, which is one more than most pils I have.

This is one of my favorites from Victory. It pours a perfect clear filtered yellow with a nice off-white head. Perfect taste of bitterness with the fresh Tettnang hops. For my taste the Tettnang has better amount of piney citrus zip than the Saaz hops. It also perectly dry. Simply a great Pils - for me it is as good as Prima Pils. I wish they would bottle it year round.

The beer pours mostly clear with a hint of haze to it with a nice straw color. The pure-white head quickly reduces to almost nothing in a pilsner glass, leaving scant traces of foam along the sides as it disappeared.
The aroma is very mild. It's completely dry: white pepper from the Tettnang hops with no hint of malt affecting the smell.
The first taste is silky-smooth with a hint of graininess. The hops are not as strong as the Prima Pils but they're just perfectly balanced. This may be the driest pilsner I have ever tasted. There's little if any aftertaste. More white pepper on the tongue as well.
As incredible as the Prima Pils is, Victory's Braumeister Tettnanger Pils surpasses it in almost every way. More balanced and easier to drink: this is the kind of pilsner I was looking for when I was in Germany.

On tap @ the VBC (Downingtown, PA) on 7/3/11. Served in a Pilsner glass.
Pours a clear copper, topped with a finger of frothy bright-white head. This has a solid looking creamy retention to it, and a big rich flare-up to boot, leaving back thick swathes of heavy lace. The aroma is grassy and spicy in the nose, with some bright smelling citrus flavors (lemon, in particular, stands out), while the tight toasted graininess from the malts offer up more than enough support underneath.
Hops take control in the taste, with an assertive feel that lays a big ole’ smack of lemon tartness down on the tongue first, before giving way to a spicy leafiness and bitter rind character that sticks in the mouth with a dry and pithy feel. The malts provide a rigid supportive sweetness underneath but the overall profile here is mostly about those hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a strong prickly crispness that is quite assertive on the tongue, before smoothing out along the back.
Well this was most definitely pretty hop forward and your enjoyment of this will probably depend on just how bitter you like your Pils. While this wasn’t quite up to the standards of some of the other entries in the Braumeister series, this will still do in a pinch if you’re yearning for a crisp and quenching beer.

On tap at Capone's in late April, this is being reviewed from notes taken on April 23. Poured into a pint glass.
The body is straw-colored and a bit hazy, there is not much of a head on top of it, as it comes to me about 1/2 cm in height, fading quickly. Regardless of agitation, it won't return. Lacing is also not present. A bit disappointing to see such an uninspiring pour.
Aroma is definitely Czech, as the earthy and stanky hops do make an appearance. There is a touch of grainy malt character that detracts from it a bit, but overall, it's alright. The flavor is a bit more well rounded as the graininess is lost in the flavor of the hops and the related bitterness.
Light bodied and easy drinking, while this is no standout pils when juxtaposed against Prima, it isn't bad at all. I think that a bit of tweaking could bring this experimental pils into the realm of awesome.
