So a collaboration beer from three breweries i really admire.

Poured into snifter, Pale orange in color. About three finger thick white colored head that has good retention. Stays as a thin 2 cm thick layer. Decent lacing on the sides, left by the head. A good amount of bubbles seen rising up. Hazy with some suspension, may be of Belgian yeast.

Slight dry fruit type nose that is dominant. Seems a little bit spicy as well. Some pepper like phenols. A little bit of Belgian yeast. No apparent alcohol. Not enough malt or hop aroma. Not a very typical Belgian saison aroma that is mind blowing.

Taste has some hops. A little bit of fruity esters. Some clove or pepper like taste. Seems somewhat spicy to me. Sweet and tart at the same time. More complex than i expected. No thing very distinct about it.

Feel is very medium to slightly on the lower side. Drinks easy and has spice related tartness. Moderate to high on carbonation. Smooth on the palate. Effervescent but not that much.

A nice Saison beer, not to my liking.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a hazy, golden color. There wasn’t much of a white head on it, and what was there didn’t linger or leave any lacing. It has a nice aroma. Somewhat musty, with lemon and grapefruit, wheat and some peppery notes. Interesting taste. Some tartness, wheat, spiciness, bit of bitterness, lemon, a touch of yeastiness and breadiness. A very nice Saison. I hope they do it again!

No bottled on date. Purchased for $2.99. Poured into a pint glass.

A - Ours a slightly cloudy, straw yellow. Minimal white head, which quickly dissapates. Zero lacing. Well carbonated.

A - Grapefruit and herbal, citrusy

T - Crisp and clean, peppery, hint of citrus, not the typical funk of a saison

MF - Sharp and tingly

O - A refreshing balanced beer that I would buy again.
