I picked this beer up a few days ago and drank a few, so I'd better try to get a review in while I still have some.

Appearance: Pours a very clear golden yellow color with a 1/4" head of creamy white bubbles that didn't have too many bubbles rising to push it up, so it fell to a pretty solid ring within about 45 seconds or so.

Aroma: I initially got quite a bit of sweetness with some mild grainy notes, but once the head fell, you could really pick out the hops. There is a healthy dose of American hops in the later additions of their boil as they are fresh on the nose. It has a very inviting aroma.

Taste: The flavor is more bitter than I was expecting from the aroma. The hops are also a big player up front, but they pretty much stick with you the whole time to make the finish balanced slightly toward the bitter as well. There is a little bit of grainy sweetness in there to give a bit of balance, but it doesn't come out in the flavor like it does in the aroma.

Opinion: Overall this is a pretty decent beer. The balance is a little hoppy in the flavor for my taste, but there are no fermentation flaws or anything...it is just a recipe thing. If you really dig hoppy beers, give this one a shot as it is pretty decent for a hoppy beer.

Bottle > Pint Glass

A - Pours a light completely clear straw/light gold color, shy of a finger head, minor lacing.
S - Some grains and light malt, a little yeast.
T - Tastes like a pilsner, I dont really get any of the Simcoe hops in here at all, just a little minor bite from the german hops.
M - Light, refreshing for summer.
O - Eh, could do without, but its not awful.

Poured from bottle into tulip. Nice inch thick white foamy head sits on a golden color. Really fantastic hop grassy crisp grain aroma. Nice crisp malty flavor with great floral and fruity notes. Its very well balanced and a super easy drinker. One of my go to summer session brews. Wish they would make a double version...
You really never find this much flavor in a blonde too often.
